Of course I have sinned. The Bible says that “all have fallen short of the glory of God”.
Exactly how am I being judgmental? Is it judgmental to expect someone else not to sin by breaking the law of our land?
Pointing your finger at me and using the convoluted logic of “only those who have not sinned are allowed to point out the sin of others” is contrary to what Paul teaches us to do. Numerous times he told us to confront each other with our sins so that we can repent and turn back to following the teachings of Jesus.
Continuing with your “logic”, the next step is to abolish all laws in order to keep from breaking them, and in the process, sinning.
That wouldn’t work at all.
Wouldn’t it better to enforce the laws we have and spend our efforts fixing our defunct immigration system?
Lastly I’d like to say this:
Where does it say in the Bible that a Christian cannot take a stance on a controversial issue? Don’t bother looking, it’s not in there.

Have you, in the many years of your life, never sinned? It is easy to place judgement on people when applying a sin scale to God’s word.
Speeding in your car is also breaking the law. Given your responses above, I suggest we all sell our cars to keep from sinning.

They are still here illegally. Is there some part of the word “illegal” that you just don’t get?? Apparently all of it.
If you folks (the ones supporting illegal immigration) would put as much energy into fixing the broken immigration system as you do helping illegal immigrates circumvent the law, this conversation would be totally unnecessary. If the system worked, all of these people could come to this country legally. They would pay taxes (unlike most of them do now) and they could legally integrate into our society…maybe even someday deciding to become American citizens.
I understand that the situation is not good down in Mexico. The corruption is rampant and many people do well to scrape by day to day.
Supporting illegal entry into our country is not the way to fix this. It hurts everyone in the long run.
I also understand that doing the right thing in this matter does not allow one to have the “touchy-feely” feel good feeling that liberals need in order to sleep at night. But doing the right thing now will ensure that our children have a much nicer country to live in after we are gone.

There are millions of these ILLEGAL INMIGRANTS that are waaaaay much compassive and faithful CHRISTIANS than you. You minutemen are mixing a bunch of thugs that came to this country to do bad things with millions that came to WORK and PAY TAXES and give their families a better life.

That further proves my point and backs up my passage. Wanting a better life does not give one license to break the law. I’ve heard of many a bank robber who wanted a better life. Would you endorse them breaking the law to get it? I think you would not.
As I’ve said many times before: the immigration system is broken. There is no reason for it to take 10 years for a person to be allowed to come here legally. We need to fix this system.
With that said, there still is no justification for breaking the law. There still is no justification for knowingly doing what is wrong. That is a sin.
Your convoluted argument, that by enforcing our laws is somehow “punishing” innocent children and is therefore a sin, is completely illogical and completely unrealistic.

The DREAM Act does not reward wrong doing as children who made no choice into coming into this country are free of sin. These are children of God want to better themselves and have a chance for a path to legalization. It will take them nine years to complete the process. To punish these innocent children is a sin.

I really need to put this reply into a file so I can cut it and paste it. It gets really wearisome having to retype it.
Breaking the law, which illegal aliens do when they come to this country, is still breaking the law.
Breaking the law is a sin. Jesus never endorsed sin. He called unrepentant sinners “a brood of vipers”.
Before you go spouting Bible passages as me, maybe you better think on this one:
“But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

You are so correct. The greatest commandment is to Love God with all your heart and soul.
You are also correct that the second greatest commandment is to Love our neighbors as ourselves.
Breaking the laws of this country is contrary to what Jesus taught. Breaking laws is a sin. Jesus never endorsed sin. As a matter of fact, He was very harsh on non-repentant sinners.
Giving someone, who is in our country illegally, breaking our laws, and in doing so committing a sin, free education is endorsing the sin. Jesus never endorsed sin, and as His followers, neither should we.
Loving people sometimes requires doing things that don’t make us feel good. Some people call this “tough love”. It is doing what is necessary to make the person accept a path that leads to their growth and maturity, physically, mentally and spiritually. It’s not always fun or “feel good” when we have to do this, but that doesn’t make it any less necessary.
Endorsing lawbreakers may be “feel good”, but it’s also endorsing sinful behavior.
I love God with all my heart and soul. I love the illegal aliens as I love myself.
