Shalom, Abbas hold ‘very good’ meetings

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

This seems to be the same old same old that we hear about meetings between the Israelis and Palestinians. No new news here.
But something caught my eye in the article. Here it is…

Both Shalom and Abbas later addressed the UN assembly each speaking about their grievances towards the peace process and the need to fight terror on the internet.
The meeting between the leaders took place at the UN World Summit on the Information Society where thousands of participants from all over the world met to discuss how to close the gap in information technology access between the developed and the developing world.

Now it doesn’t take one long to figure out that one way to fight terror on the internet is to put it under U.N. control so the can censor it. Of course what constitutes terrorism on the internet according to the U.N. may include this blog.

Maybe I need to dust off my hacking skills…

When the Trumpet Sounds

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 New International Version (NIV)

51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

May God Bless you and Keep You Until We Meet Again in the Kingdom of the Lord.
We miss you Grandpa.

Tired of Michael Newdow Trying to Remove God?

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

If you are tired of Michael Newdow and the ACLU suing everything even remotely Christian, here is a link to a petition to restore order via a congressional bill.
Sign it and let’s put a stop to this here and now.

Anti-Christian rampage features 2,000 Muslims

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

As a Christian, this type of thing comes as no suprise to me. We know that before everything is said and done, Christians will be the most hated group of people on the planet. We will be persecuted in every way imaginable.

What makes me sad is the lack of outrage about this:

They came in buses to the small village of Sangla Hill in the Nankana district of Punjab in Pakistan.
Some 2,000 organized Muslims first vandalized three churches, a nuns’ convent, two Catholic schools, the houses of a Protestant pastor and a Catholic priest, a girls’ hostel and some Christian homes, according to Asia News.
Then they burned them to the ground, while about 450 Christian families fled yesterday. They have not returned.

Where is the world’s call for peackeepers, inspectors and condemnation? Oh yeah, it’s just bunch of Christians. Who cares about them anyway?

Mark 8:34-36 New International Version (NIV)

34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save his life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?

Footnotes:
Mark 8:35 The Greek word means either life or soul; also in verse 36.

Palestinian election platforms: Terrorize Israel

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

Many of us looked at the “evacuations” of Gaza and some of the West Bank as being a very big mistake. As time goes on, we continue to see that nothing less then the destruction of Israel and the Jews will appease the Palestinians.

Now Palestinian pols are advocating continued attacks on Israel because the West Bank and Jerusalem are still “occupied”. This includes homicide bombers (read that as “coward who kills innocent women and children because he/she is too yellow to attack the military”), rocket attacks and any other means of “resistance”.

It really seems to fit into the adage “give them an inch and they’ll take a mile”. The government of Israel should face it…Them or you. It’s going to reach the point where Israel must take a stand.

Now being the brilliant military mind that I am (NOT), I can only hope that the Israelis have some grand plan behind all of this. I keep thinking that maybe they are waiting for Palestine to become a legal country. Then if they are attacked, they can declare war and annihilate it. Guess we’ll see.

Islamic Radicals Plan World Revolution from Temple Mount

Wednesday, November 16th, 2005

This should come as no surprise to anyone. The Religion of Peace (RoP) is preaching world domination.

What most people don’t understand is that the koran gives muslims and islam specific instructions to go out and convert the world, either by preaching, or if that fails, by the sword.

Another point overlooked by most, is that the koran also gives it’s followers permission to pretend to be peace loving people who only want to get along with everyone if that will further their mission of world wide islamic domination. It is a long standing policy of “wait until the enemy’s (everyone not muslim) back is turned and then drive in the knife.

Now I know this sounds paranoid, but I also invite you to read the koran. It’s hard to read because the ideas bounce around a lot from topic to topic, but with a little effort, you can ferret our what mohammed had in mind.

In the meantime, we get to hear about groups spouting death and destruction from Temple Mount, a place they shouldn’t even be allowed to be.
