Revealed: Israel Plans Nuclear Strike on Iran

Monday, January 8th, 2007

The TimesOnline is reporting that Israel is practicing attacks on hardened bunkers with tactical nuclear weapons. It makes sense seeing that the world is standing by and letting the mad Iranian leader develop his own nukes, that most likely will be used against Israel. If the world won’t stop him, Israel has said it will.

ISRAEL has drawn up secret plans to destroy Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities with tactical nuclear weapons.

Two Israeli air force squadrons are training to blow up an Iranian facility using low-yield nuclear “bunker-busters”, according to several Israeli military sources.

The attack would be the first with nuclear weapons since 1945, when the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Israeli weapons would each have a force equivalent to one-fifteenth of the Hiroshima bomb.

Under the plans, conventional laser-guided bombs would open “tunnels” into the targets. “Mini-nukes” would then immediately be fired into a plant at Natanz, exploding deep underground to reduce the risk of radioactive fallout.

“As soon as the green light is given, it will be one mission, one strike and the Iranian nuclear project will be demolished,” said one of the sources.

The plans, disclosed to The Sunday Times last week, have been prompted in part by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad’s assessment that Iran is on the verge of producing enough enriched uranium to make nuclear weapons within two years.

Israeli military commanders believe conventional strikes may no longer be enough to annihilate increasingly well-defended enrichment facilities. Several have been built beneath at least 70ft of concrete and rock. However, the nuclear-tipped bunker-busters would be used only if a conventional attack was ruled out and if the United States declined to intervene, senior sources said.

Israeli and American officials have met several times to consider military action. Military analysts said the disclosure of the plans could be intended to put pressure on Tehran to halt enrichment, cajole America into action or soften up world opinion in advance of an Israeli attack.

Some analysts warned that Iranian retaliation for such a strike could range from disruption of oil supplies to the West to terrorist attacks against Jewish targets around the world.

Decency Advocates Urge Christians to Patronize Pro-Family Businesses

Monday, January 8th, 2007

We Christians should do whatever is possible to support these types of businesses.

(AgapePress) – The Michigan-based American Decency Association (ADA) has developed a “National Shopping List” of businesses that it says are Christian-based or family-friendly in their practices. At present, the list is short; but the cultural watchdog group says it’s just providing a place to start for people all over the U.S., who should go on to make their own lists concerning businesses in their own communities.

ADA maintains notices on its website of corporate retail chains that sponsor indecent programming on television or support questionable causes. Ministry president Bill Johnson says with so many nationally known businesses out there, he feels it is important to make a priority of patronizing organizations that appear to have an acceptable, pro-family business approach.

In examining companies’ business practices, Johnson notes, ADA looks at “the kinds of programs [on which] they advertise,” as well as whether businesses are “staying away from the promotion of homosexuality, and so on.” Some of the commendable companies that have been listed on the “shopping list” are Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-A, and Bob Evans.

The watchdog group’s spokesman says Christians need to investigate the companies with which they are considering doing business and should support those whose values are in line with the consumers’ own. And, he warns, “I believe that it does sometimes mean that rather than getting a cheaper buy here, [you may end up] spending a little bit more over there.”

But the important thing, Johnson adds, is “lining your dollars in a way that’s honoring to God.” Christians, he asserts, should be willing to make the sacrifice of a little higher price or a longer trip in order to be pleasing to God in their purchasing.

ADA’s president encourages pro-family consumers to be proactive about investigating companies and letting others’ know which are worthy of pro-family support. “We need to spread the word around, let other people know,” he says, upon discovering “a place where we really ought to give our dollars.”

Meanwhile, Johnson says, pro-family consumers should be aware of businesses that do not deserve patronage and “take our moneys away from places like [for example] Yum Brands, … Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell and KFC.” Such companies are among the corporate sponsors of all kinds of “trash,” he contends. “We ought not to be giving our money to companies like that.”

The ADA says its National Shopping List is unofficial, but it can still be a useful resource for Christians who want to honor God in the spending of their retail dollars. And, Johnson reiterates, the list can also be used as a model for pro-family shoppers as they compile their own local and regional shopping lists.

‘You Marry My Daughter and I’ll Marry Yours!’

…Or otherwise entitled “Another Example of Islamic Law and Subjugation of Women”.

RIYADH, 7 January 2007 — With the aim of strengthening business ties, two Riyadh business partners in their 70s have married their teenage daughters (17-19) to each other, reported Sayidaty magazine, a sister publication of Arab News.

“A man has the right to marry. When it comes to marriage, there is no stopping point,” said Al-Dossary, a man in his 70s with silver hair, a gray beard and gray eyebrows. “We have followed Islamic principles in the way we conducted our marriages and we are both happy with our wives,” he added.

Al-Dossary married his teenage daughter to his business partner and in turn married his partner’s teenage daughter. His partner, Saif Al-Qahtani, said: “It is true that our arranged marriages are strange, yet this does not mean that we are the only people to have married in this way, either in the past or the present. Anyhow, the main purpose of marriage is to protect men and women and we have both achieved this through our marriages.”

He added: “It took us only two months to decide and then arrange our marriages. It all began when my friend, Al-Dossary, continuously expressed the desire to marry.”

Al-Dossary added: “It is true that I wanted to marry. I proposed to several girls but all refused. One day I decided to ask Al-Qahtani to give me one of his daughters. He agreed immediately, but in return he asked me for my daughter. I was surprised because he already had three wives; however, I agreed since I had a young daughter who was of marriageable age.”

Al-Qahtani commented: “Yes, I asked him to give me his daughter in return. When he asked for one of my daughters, I thought I couldn’t refuse him because of our friendship. I knew that if I did refuse his request, our business would be affected. I didn’t have any other choice. I agreed to give him my daughter and take his daughter in return. At the time, I remember telling him to give me his daughter and that I would give him mine.”

He added that the two old men then set a date, not more than two months away during which time the marriages would be finalized. “We met our deadline and we have now been married for a year and a half,” he said.

When asked if they had consulted their daughters, Al-Qahtani said: “I did not ask my daughter. I don’t have to. I know what is beneficial for her. When I told her what I had planned, she was happy. If she hadn’t been, she would have told her mother.”

Al-Dossary said: “In bedouin culture, a girl does not have the right to express her opinion about marriage, especially if her father and brothers have decided on a particular man. In both our cases, we have been married for a long time and have had no problems with our wives. Although we are much older than our wives, the fact that we are together proves that we are right for each other.”

He added: “Saudi girls, especially bedouins, prefer to marry old men. This is what my third and fourth wives have both told me. They keep telling me they are glad that they did not marry young men.”

Revealed: Preachers’ Messages of Hate

Monday, January 8th, 2007

Islam is continuing to be a growing problem in the U.K. I pray that the Brits are going to be able to get a handle on this soon.

An undercover investigation has revealed disturbing evidence of Islamic extremism at a number of Britain’s leading mosques and Muslim institutions, including an organisation praised by the Prime Minister.

Secret video footage reveals Muslim preachers exhorting followers to prepare for jihad, to hit girls for not wearing the hijab, and to create a ‘state within a state’. Many of the preachers are linked to the Wahhabi strain of Islam practised in Saudi Arabia, which funds a number of Britain’s leading Islamic institutions.

A forthcoming Channel 4 Dispatches programme paints an alarming picture of how preachers in some of Britain’s most moderate mosques are urging followers to reject British laws in favour of those of Islam. Leaders of the mosques have expressed concern at the preachers’ activities, saying they were unaware such views were being disseminated.

At the Sparkbrook mosque, run by UK Islamic Mission (UKIM), an organisation that maintains 45 mosques in Britain and which Tony Blair has said ‘is extremely valued by the government for its multi-faith and multicultural activities’, a preacher is captured on film praising the Taliban. In response to the news that a British Muslim solider was killed fighting the Taliban, the speaker declares: ‘The hero of Islam is the one who separated his head from his shoulders.’

Another speaker says Muslims cannot accept the rule of non-Muslims. ‘You cannot accept the rule of the kaffir [non-Muslim],’ a preacher, Dr Ijaz Mian, tells a meeting held within the mosque. ‘We have to rule ourselves and we have to rule the others.’

The 12-month investigation also recorded a deputy headmaster of an Islamic high school in Birmingham telling a conference at the Sparkbrook mosque that he disagrees with using the word democracy. ‘They should call it … kuffrocracy, that’s their plan. It’s the hidden cancerous aim of these people.’ The Darul Uloom school said it no longer employed the teacher and that one of the reasons he resigned ‘was the incompatibility of many of his opinions with the policies of the school’.

Elsewhere the documentary records the huge popularity of DVDs and internet broadcasts produced by extremist preachers. At the Islamic bookstore at Regent’s Park Mosque in central London, DVDs of a preacher called Sheikh Yasin are sold. In one DVD, Yasin, who is promoted on the mosque’s website, accuses missionaries from the World Health Organisation and Christian groups of putting the ‘Aids virus’ in the medicine of African people, ‘which is a conspiracy’.

Another DVD on sale features Sheikh Feiz, a Saudi-trained preacher. Feiz says: ‘Kaffir is the worst word that can ever be written, a sign of infidelity, disbelief, filth, a sign of dirt.’

In a statement the company that runs the bookstore said: ‘We sell and supply a wide range of material and we do not necessarily agree with it. It is totally unfair to blame [us] for any of the views expressed in these lectures.’

Elsewhere, another preacher at a mosque in the East Midlands is caught on film, praying: ‘God help us in our fight against the kaffir, in every field, in every department of life. We beg you to help us fight against the enemies of our religion.’

Inside the Green Lane mosque in Birmingham, a preacher is recorded saying: ‘Allah has created the woman deficient.’ A satellite broadcast from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh, beamed into the Green Lane mosque suggests that Muslim children should be hit if they don’t pray: ‘When he is seven, tell him to go and pray, and start hitting them when they are 10.’ Another preacher is heard saying that if a girl ‘doesn’t wear hijab, we hit her’.

Another preacher says: ‘The time is fast approaching where the tables are going to turn and the Muslims are going to be in the position of being uppermost in strength and, when that happens, people won’t get killed – unjustly.’
