Obama Denies Protection for Infants of Botched Abortions

Monday, July 7th, 2008

If Obama is elected, we will see abortionist and gay “marriage” given free reign. I know that almost everyone loves to hate Bush, and McCain is not really all that great of a choice either, but look at what will happen if you elect Obama.

The Federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act was signed into law in 2002 after receiving unanimous support from the U.S. Senate. The measure that forces hospitals to give medical care to abortion survivors — if warranted — even received the backing of liberal senators Ted Kennedy (D-Massachusetts ), Barbara Boxer (D-California), and Hillary Clinton (D-New York).

Obama now says he did not support the Illinois measure because it “lacked the Federal language clarifying the act would not be used to undermine Roe vs. Wade.”

“Barack Obama is now saying that, had that provision been in the Illinois bill he would have voted for it, which is absolutely false – because in 2003, the senate sponsor tried to add that provision and Barack Obama, as the chairman of the committee where the bill was being held, disallowed him from adding that provision, disallowed me from testifying, disallowed the committee from even voting on it. So, it sat in committee for 22 months,” [Pro-life blogger Jill Stanek] explains.

“The Logic of Anti-Semitism” by Jack Kinsella

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Jewish anti-Semitism is a fundamental tenet of Islam, and is cited as the principle reason for both the global jihad against the West and for the Islamic world’s refusal to recognize Israel’s right to exist.

Despite this undeniable truth, the United Nations accepts every charge laid against Israel by the Islamic world, no matter how spurious.

At the same time, it routinely ignores open acts of war committed against the Jewish state by finding some moral equivalence between Israel’s refusal to commit suicide on demand and Islam’s refusal to recognize its right to exist.

Compare Israel’s ‘human rights violations’ — even the most transparently fictitious ones — to actual human rights violations ongoing in Islamic nations like the Sudan, or Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, or Syria’s Assad regime.

There are no mass graves in Israel. Yet more UN resolutions have been passed condemning Israel over the past sixty years than those passed against all the rest of nations of the world combined.

It defies logical explanation.

Israel Reopens Gaza Border Crossings Despite Continued Pali Truce Violations

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Once again, Israel has caved into international pressure to reopen the Gaza border crossing, despite continuous violations of the cease-fire truce by Pali terrorist. Among the violations are ceaseless rocket attacks against Israeli civilian centers.

JERUSALEM – Israel has opened its border crossings with the Gaza Strip after closing them once again because of Palestinian rocket fire.

Israeli military spokesman Peter Lerner says the crossings opened Sunday morning and that food, fuel and cement are being sent into Gaza. He says Palestinians seeking medical treatment are also being allowed into Israel.

Israel and Gaza militants reached a truce agreement on June 19. Under the deal, Israel agreed to reopen the crossings to allow much-needed goods into Gaza.

But since then, militants have repeatedly launched rockets into Israel and Israel has shut the crossings in response. The last closure was on Friday. Both sides accuse each other of violating the cease-fire.

Gaza’s Hamas government says it is expecting around 80 trucks to enter Gaza Sunday.

Another Muslim Honor Killing

Monday, July 7th, 2008

It has happened yet again…another Muslim “honor killing”, this time in Georgia.

A Clayton County man faces murder charges in the strangulation death of his 25-year-old daughter early Sunday over what police said was her desire to end an arranged marriage.

Chaudhry Rashad, 54, apparently became angry during an argument in which the victim, Sandela Kanwal, told him she wanted out of the marriage, Clayton police spokesman Timothy Owens said.

The father and daughter are both of Pakistani descent, and police said language barriers have slowed their investigation.

Authorities were called to the family’s home, in the 9600 block of Utah Drive in Jonesboro, just after 3 a.m. Sunday.

Kanwal lived with her father when she was not with her husband, who resides in Chicago, Owens said. She hadn’t seen the husband in three months, he said.
