Document Forensics Expert: Obama “Birth Certificate” a “Horrible Forgery”

Guess someone better check it again…

Obama Birth Certificate Border

Barack Obama may be on a world tour surrounded by a fawning media, but Sunday an expert in electronic document forensics released a detailed report on the purported birth certificate — actually a “Certification of Live Birth” or COLB — claimed as genuine by his campaign. The expert concludes with 100% certainty that it is a crudely forged fake: “a horribly forgery,” according to the analysis published on the popular right-wing Atlas Shrugs blog.

The purported birth certificate was published by the left wing Daily Kos blog on June 12 in response to unconfirmed reports that Obama was not in fact born in the United States (Canada and Kenya were suggested as the possible locations of his actual birth). Since he would in that case not be a natural born US citizen (his mother was not present in the US sufficiently long as an adult to pass American citizenship on to him automatically), he would not be eligible to be president. Israel Insider has followed the story in five previous articles (the previous one here) and uncovered evidence, most recently, of admitted forgery among Daily Kos bloggers, tolerance of electronic forgeries on the blog site, as well as efforts by a blog administrator to conceal the admission of forgery.

The latest examinaton of the purported documents is by far the most detailed and technically sophisticated to date.

Atlas Shrugs publisher Pamela Geller reports that the expert analyst, who goes by the screen name “Techdude”, is “an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American College of Forensic Examiners, The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, International Information Systems Forensics Association — the list goes on. He also a board certified as a forensic computer examiner, a certificated legal investigator, and a licensed private investigator. He has been performing computer-based forensic investigations since 1993 (although back then it did not even have a formal name yet) and he has performed countless investigations since then.”

“The (Daily) KOS image security border pattern does not match any known specimen from any known year. It does not match the pre-2006 nor does it match the post-2006 certificate patterns. The placement of the text in all of the pre-2006 and post-2006 certificates are almost identical pixel location matches while the image?s text placement does not match any known specimen from any known year. The shape and kerning of the fonts used in the 2006 through 2008 certificates are identical while the shape and kerning of the fonts used in the image does not match any known specimen. The KOS image shows clear signs of tampering such as the mismatch in RGB and error levels, visible indications of the previous location of the erased security border, easily detectable patterns of repeating flaws around the new security border, EXIF data that says the image was last saved with Photoshop CS3 for Macintosh, and finally a technician from Hawaii who confirms it just looks wrong.”

WorldNetDaily Editor: ‘Turn Up Heat on Congress to Bring Gas Prices Down’

Monday, July 21st, 2008

WASHINGTON – The hour is late, he warns.

Congress is counting the days until it adjourns for the year.

It’s exactly 75, he points out.

Senators and representatives know there is growing anger and frustration in the body politick over rising gas prices.

They know their excuses for inaction are not flying with the public, says the editor and founder of WND.

Joseph Farah is taking the unusual action of launching an ad hoc political movement in the waning days of the second session of the 110th Congress.

“I want to bring Congress to its knees,” he says. “I want to melt down their phones. I want to flood their e-mail boxes. I want to hold them as political hostages. The ransom demand is to unleash the free market to begin exploring and pumping domestic crude oil and getting it to market as fast as possible. We’ve got 75 days to make our voices heard. Let’s make history by bringing this recalcitrant body of elitists into compliance with the will of the people and the rule of law.”

After anxiously waiting for someone else to take the lead on demanding action of Congress, Farah came to the conclusion no one else was going to do it.

“We’re running out of time,” Farah says. “If we let these rascals, these scoundrels, leave town before they lift all their ridiculous bans and restrictions on drilling for domestic oil, this country is headed for a major recession. Even worse, we’ll head into a new year and a new presidency with the Washington elite thinking they put one over on us again.”

Farah says the only thing that can prevent the disaster of gasoline prices of $6, $7, even $8 a gallon in the near future is a general uprising of the American people.

“It’s time to stop business as usual,” he says. “Every day, you need to make some phone calls, you need to write some e-mails, you need to use Skype and text messages and even send some letters through the post office. This grass-roots movement has to build steadily for the next 75 days. We cannot allow Congress to adjourn without lifting the ban on drilling in ANWR, off shore and on public lands under which we know there are vast reserves of oil.”

Farah says it’s a national emergency and needs to be treated as such.

“I hope radio talk show hosts across the country will embrace this bipartisan, non-partisan movement,” he says. “There is no question in my mind this is what the American people want. Now it’s just time for them to impose their will on their elected representatives who, in their chauffeured limousines and taxpayer-supported travel, are hopelessly out of touch with their constituents, with people who are finding it difficult to make ends meet.”

San Francisco to Vote on Legalizing Prostitution

Monday, July 21st, 2008

The City of Sin, aka San Francisco, California, has gotten enough signatures to place a proposal to legalize prostitution on the ballot.
Just when I think this city cannot become more depraved…

Petitioners have succeeded in moving a measure that would effectively decriminalize prostitution in the city of San Francisco to the Nov. 4 ballot.

While prostitution is unlawful under the California Penal Code, the measure – if passed by voters – would ban the San Francisco Police Department from allocating any financial resources for the investigation and prosecution of sex workers on prostitution charges.

Section four of the ballot measure – under the heading “Prostitution Shall Be Decriminalized” – further states that the city, county, and district attorney “shall not subject sex-workers to life long economic discrimination associated with having a criminal record.”

San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris criticized the measure, unofficially titled “Enforcement of Laws Related to Prostitution and Sex Workers.” Harris told the San Francisco Chronicle, “This measure is nothing more than a welcome mat for prostitutes and pimps to come and hang out in San Francisco.”

Proponents of the measure are claiming it is needed to give sex-industry workers equal protection under the law and to counter an alleged long-standing cronyism between dance club owners and key decision makers that has resulted in police cracking down on some prostitution outlets but looking the other way from popular nightclubs, even when the clubs were accused of sexual abuses by workers.

Maxine Doogan, founder of the Erotic Service Provider’s Union, wrote in an email reported by the Chronicle, “Workers would like it if crimes like rape, robbery, theft and coercion were vigorously investigated and prosecuted. We want the right to make reports of crimes against us without being retaliated against by the police department.”

Blog Update Done

Monday, July 21st, 2008

What a nightmare!
I started to upload the blog updates and the FTP stopped working about 30 files into a stack of 235. It nuked the blog completely for about two hours. I had to wait almost 10 minutes between FTP logins and then upload everything 4 files at a time. I’d get about 20 of them up before the FTP connection would crater again.
But it looks as if everything is now up there and working correctly.
Please report any malfunctions you run across.

Blog Update Going Slow

Monday, July 21st, 2008

I may not be able to make any blog post today due to the blog update misbehaving.
If everything goes according to plan, I may be able to do some later.

Updating the Blog

Monday, July 21st, 2008

I’m going to update the blog now. This is normally a quick process, but…
In other words, please be patient and I’ll have things back to normal as quickly as possible.

Never mind…the internet is not cooperating with me. I’ll do it another time.
