How Would Jesus Vote?

Opinion by Jack Kelley

“But as for you who forsake the LORD and forget my holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.” (Isaiah 65:11-12)

For most of America’s history there’s been a direct connection between patriotism and faith, probably because the US was founded as a Christian nation. We’ve always believed that God has watched over us, made us prosperous, and been on our side in the wars we’ve fought.

Ohio Coal Association on Obama’s Plan to Wipe Them Out

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

This from Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs. People are starting to act surprised that Obama lied to them. I didn’t expect to have a “I told you so” this soon, but I do. I’m going to use “I told you so’s” from now on, without mercy.

Just released via Fox News, a statement from Mike Carey, president of the Ohio Coal Association:

The message from the Democratic candidate for President could not be clearer: the Obama-Biden ticket spells disaster for America’s coal industry and the tens of thousands of Americans who work in it.

It’s evident that this campaign has been pandering in states like Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana, and Pennsylvania to attempt to generate votes from coal supporters, while keeping his true agenda hidden from the state’s voters.

Pray for Our Country

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

I am taking the day off to spend with my family. This actually has nothing to do with election day and has been planned for some time now.
I’ve told you everything I know about the candidates. I’ve tried to show you what the next four years are going to be like. It’s now up to you folks who have not voted.
Continue to pray for our nation and our leaders.
