“RESPONDING TO ISLAMIC EXTREMISM” An Interview of Dr. Marvin Belsky by Fern Sidman

Dr. Marvin Belsky

An interview with Dr. Marvin Belsky of HRCARI (Human Rights Coalition Against Radical Islam)

As the exponential growth of radical Islam continues to present an ever increasing danger to the future of Western civilization, there are those concerned individuals hailing from diverse backgrounds, nationalities and religions who are outraged by this pernicious threat and are determined to do something about it. The Human Rights Coalition Against Radical Islam is one such organization. Founded in May of 2009, the HRCARI has held numerous political demonstrations, rallies and seminars aimed at bringing about a collective awareness of the perils of Islamic extremism. I sat down with Dr. Marvin Belsky, one of the founders of HRCARI to hear more about the goals and objectives of this most important group.

FS: Can you tell us about the genesis of HRCARI?

MB: Basically, the HRCARI is a movement whose time has come. As radical Islam flourishes unabated, there are very few political organizations who are willing to take a pro-active stance in order to oppose it. Terrorism is on the rise and human rights abuses in Muslim countries are seldom featured in the news. The liberal establishment, the Western academy and the media seem to be controlled by multi-cultural relativists who have become apologists for Islamic radicalism. We found that many people from many different backgrounds are seething with indignation about the deafening silence on this subject and have personally been adversely affected by such extremism. They wanted to do something about and as such HRCARI was born. Our organization is a “rainbow coalition” comprising a number of different groups including Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, Jews, and even ex-Muslim dissidents. Our first official rally against radical Islam was held in May of 2009 in Times Square and featured members of families of 9/11 victims as well as those activists who have been speaking and writing about this threat for years.

FS: What is your background as it relates to activism and what inspired you to become involved?

MB: I am a retired medical doctor; an internist and a Jew. I grew up in a family that was very concerned about the rise of right wing fascism in Europe prior to World War II and the growth of the Nazi movement, so I learned from a young age that it is imperative to speak out against movements that can and will have catastrophic consequences.

FS: You mentioned human rights abuses that occur in Muslim countries. Can you expound upon the details of that?

MB: On January 19th, HRCARI participated in a large demonstration outside of the United Nations in New York protesting the murder of Coptic Christians in Egypt several weeks ago. The Christian population of Egypt in only 9% and for many years now, they have been relentlessly harassed and murdered by certain elements of the Muslim population. Over the years, more than 22 Coptic priests were murdered and it doesn’t stop there. Murders of Christians and other “infidels” are commonplace in Muslim countries and the world stands in abject silence.

Moreover, abuse of women is rampant in Islamic culture as is evidenced in the alarming escalation of “honor murders” of women who are accused of allegedly transgressing Sharia law. Any woman who wishes to become more “Westernized” or to divorce her husband, or who has been raped, or who wishes to marry someone of her choice rather than someone that her family selects is subjected to barbaric treatment, including murder. Not only does this take place in every Muslim country, but has taken place throughout Europe and in North America. Western feminists who choose a “politically correct” posture and don’t want to be viewed as racists remain silent while women’s lives are hanging in the balance.

Another group that has seen their share of human rights abuses are Hindus and Sikhs. For hundreds of years, Muslims have engaged in heinous murders of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan, Bangladesh and India and those who are not murdered are subjected to forced conversions to Islam. Such atrocities against Hindus include targeted attacks against their temples, open theft of Hindu property, and rape of young Hindu women.

FS: What is HRCARI’s position on Israel and the murders of Jews by Muslims throughout time?

MB: We are strongly supportive of Israel and stand with her in battle against Muslim violence. Clearly, Jews have been subjected to the savagery of Islamic persecution since time immemorial. We have called upon the world to rise up in righteous indignation over the existential danger that the Iranian nuclear threat represents for Israel and we have vociferously condemned such heinous terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, the Al Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade, the PFLP, and other movements of that ilk. At our rally in Times Square, we had a young Israeli man speak, who survived an Islamic suicide bombing in Jerusalem and he told of other such attacks and how they have wreaked havoc on Israeli society. When Jews are wantonly murdered in their own country by their avowed enemies, that does not bode well for Jews around the world. While the international community consistently condemns Israel as an “apartheid state”, no one ever raises their voices about how Jews are “persona non-grata” in Muslim countries.

On Tuesday evening, March 9th, the HRCARI staged a counter-protest in front of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, when we learned that a plethora of anti-Israel organizations would be protesting against the The Friends of the Israel Defense Forces fundraising dinner that was held there. We assembled about 100 people who also represented such organizations as Z Street, Americans For a Safe Israel, Stand With Us and the Zionist Organization of America. We countered the bald faced lies and propaganda of Israel’s detractors who claimed that the IDF massacred civilians in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead. They called for an end to US support for Israel and claimed that the Obama administration was pandering to the Israeli lobby. We know that the IDF is the most moral fighting force in the world and that the infamous Goldstone report is replete with lies and distortions and has been discredited by the United States. The events of the last weeks illuminate the fact that the US and the Israeli lobby do not always see eye to eye and the strain in relations between the two countries will most likely embolden the forces of Islamic extremism.

We are also one of the organizers of a pro-Israel rally that will take place on Sunday, April 25th outside of the Israeli consulate in New York City. We will be sending a clear message to the Obama administration that there are Jews who are outraged by the nefarious shift in US foreign policy as it pertains to Israel. Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capitol of the Jewish state and as such the government of Israel has every right to build homes for its Jewish residents there.

The facts cannot be disputed. Israel is a vibrant democracy that protects the rights of their Muslim citizens, while Jews are afraid to walk in their own streets or ride their own busses. Such media outlets as The New York Times, which is the “bible” of liberal activists, does not report the truth about Israel and in effect, enables Islamists to be more effective, along with such groups as The Human Rights Watch. We work with an organization called “Get Out The Facts” which raises awareness amongst those who are apathetic or misinformed about Israel and they were instrumental in protesting the incessant propaganda against Israel.

FS: Who are some of the personalities and groups that are associated with HRCARI?

MB: Our board members include Dr. Charles Jacobs of Americans for Peace and Tolerance, Andrew Upham, a noted attorney and Satya Dosapati of the Hindu Human Rghts Watch. We also work with Simon Deng, a freed former slave, Mohamed Yahya, leader of the Muslim Darfur group Damanga, noted author and women’s rights advocate Dr. Phyllis Chesler, Rajinder Singh Khalsa and Bhupinder Singh Bhurji representing the Sikh community, Hindu human rights leader Arish Sahani, anti-slavery activist Pastor Gerald Bell, Beth Gilinsky, longtime activist in human rights, and head of the Alliance for Interfaith Resistance, and Narain Kataria, of the International Foundation of Bangladeshi Hindus.

We also work with many Christian Zionist organizations including the Christian Action Network who take an active role in spotlighting persecution of Christians throughout the world. Other groups that we align ourselves with are: 911 Families for a Secure America; ACT for America, Long Island/Manhattan; AIR — Alliance for Interfaith Resistance; the AISH Center; the American Coptic Union; Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI); the Alliance of Iranian Women; AMCHA-Coalition for Jewish Concerns; the American Center for Democracy, Americans for Peace & Tolerance and the Zionist Organization of America.

Uncovered Portions of Blacked-Out Subpoena Suggest Obama Advised Blagojevich on Senate Replacement

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

More corruption from the Chicago thug currently occupying the White House.

CHICAGO — The blacked-out portions of a subpoena request filed by lawyers for former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich — which were revealed through a simple computer trick — suggest President Obama may have played a role in finding his own Senate replacement.

On Thursday, Blagojevich’s lawyers asked a federal judge to subpoena the president to testify about questions surrounding the government’s allegation that Blagojevich was selling or trading Obama’s Senate seat after his election to the White House in November 2008.

“President Barack Obama has direct knowledge of the Senate seat allegation,” reads Blagojevich’s 11-page motion, filed with U.S. District Judge James B. Zagel.

The court erred when it posted the motion in a pdf file with redactions that could be revealed simply by copying and pasting the blacked-out portions to a plain text file.

Blagojevich attorney Sheldon Sorosky brushed off the error, telling Fox News that he didn’t know how the redacted file became viewable, and blaming it on a “low tech guy.”

Some news outlets captured the file, which was later removed from the court’s website.

Among the blacked-out portions are paragraphs about what the attorneys say was Obama’s role in suggesting two candidates for the seat he vacated when he was elected president. The uncovered portion states that even though Obama said in December 2008 that no representative of his had any part in any deals, Blagojevich met with a labor union official who said he was in contact with Obama on Nov. 3, 2008, and had suggested his adviser Valerie Jarrett be appointed to the Senate seat.

That unnamed official told the FBI and the United States attorneys that “Obama expressed his belief that [Senate Candidate B] would be a good senator for the people of Illinois and would be a candidate who could win re-election,” the subpoena reads. Jarrett is known to be Senate Candidate B.

The subpoena contends that Senate Candidate B spoke with the labor union official about the Senate seat, and the labor union official told Obama the official “was going to meet with Blagojevich and said he was going to push Blagojevich hard on this.”

Blagojevich said that the labor union official was “very explicit” about his conversation with Obama.

Meanwhile, “a supporter of Presidential Candidate Obama” suggested she talked to Blagojevich’s wife about Jarrett and “mentioned in a phone call on November 3, 2008, having offered ‘fundraising’ in exchange for Senate Candidate B for senator.”

The redacted portions of the subpoena also say that Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel spoke with Blagojevich aide John Harris on Nov. 12, 2008, and Harris took notes from that conversation that Obama approved of Senate Candidate A.

“President’s chief of staff told the FBI that ‘he could not say where but somewhere it was communicated to him that’ Senate Candidate A was a suggested candidate viewed as one of the four ‘right’ candidates ‘by the Obama transition team.'” That message was conveyed to Blagojevich on the same day.

The blacked-out portion adds that Emanuel called Harris again on Dec. 8 and later told the FBI that Obama said on Dec. 7 that he was concerned about Senate Candidate D being appointed.

News reports list Senate Candidate D as a deputy governor to Blagojevich.

Emanuel then is said to have “suggested they might need an expanded list to possibly include names of African Americans that came out of the business world. [President’s Chief of Staff] thought he suggested Senate Candidate E who was the head of the Urban League and with President’s Chief of Staff’s suggestion.”

Blagojevich’s attorneys argued that Obama “has direct knowledge to allegations made in the indictment. In addition, President Obama’s public statements contradict other witness statements, specifically those made by labor union official and Senate Candidate B.

“There are two conflicting stories and the defense has the right to admit evidence that contradicts the government’s claims. Only President Obama can do this,” the subpoena request reads, noting that Obama and Blagojevich spoke on Dec. 1 at an event in Philadelphia.

The attorneys write in the subpoena request that they acknowledge that portions are sealed to comply with a protective order issued on April 14, 2009, but repeated that “it is the defense’s position that all tapes and sealed information be made public. … The defense, however, urges this court unseal the entire motion.”

It would be extraordinary if a sitting president were subpoenaed to take the witness stand in a Chicago political corruption trial or any criminal trial. Judge Zagel has not indicated how he might respond to the unusual request.

After the redacted portions of the document were revealed, federal prosecutors immediately had the document pulled from the publicly available portion of the court’s docket, and Zagel called an emergency meeting with prosecutors and Blagojevich attorney Sorosky in his chambers.

Sorosky told Fox News that the meeting had “nothing to do” with the subpoena, but he would not disclose the purpose of the meeting.

“Not a big deal , it was just a meeting,” he said.

Defense attorney Michael E. Ettinger, who represents the former governor’s brother and co-defendant, businessman Robert Blagojevich, said he was not surprised by the unusual motion filed by Blagojevich attorney Sam Adam, a fixture among Chicago defense attorneys known for his flamboyant rhetoric.

“This is what he does,” Ettinger said. “I’ve been working with him for 40 years, and he’s sharp as a tack.”

Zagel has scheduled the trial to get under way June 3.

“The NFL’s Bad Seed and Prophecy” by Michael G. Mickey

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

Tonight the first round of the National Football League draft will be held and fans all over the nation will be waiting to see who gets drafted by their favorite franchise. That being the case, I thought I’d write a commentary about the NFL today, particularly what some inside it believes constitutes a bad seed. You know what I’m talking about, right? The kind of guy who makes it to the game’s highest level and, soon thereafter, tarnishes both the league’s image and whichever club made the unfortunate decision to ties its future to him.

The following is a recent quote made by an unnamed AFC front office executive about a well known football player:

“I don’t want any part of him or the circus. At some point as a team, don’t you have to be concerned with what comes with him?”

Question: Who is the player this AFC executive is talking about and what kind of baggage is he carrying that someone might not want him on their team? Hold that thought because there’s more.

Last month, a Sports Illustrated writer dedicated an entire commentary on his personal blog to express his desire for this athlete’s career to be a failure.

Ready to guess who the player is?

If your answer is Michael Vick, who recently did prison time for his involvement in a dog fighting crime ring, you’re wrong. Michael is trying to restore his image and, thus far, seems to be doing a reasonable job.

If you think the player is Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger whose alleged sexual escapades of late have led to his suspension from playing the first six games of the 2010 season, you’re wrong again!

The correct answer?

Who is the bad seed of a player so many are down on?

The answer is former University of Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. And what, exactly, makes Tim Tebow a player who is drawing remarks and blog commentaries like those described above? His Christian faith! That’s right! Tim Tebow’s Christian faith and his willingness to express it!

Les Carpenter of Yahoo Sports describes the controversy surrounding Tebow like this, in part:

“Nothing will divide quite like religion. And while football often embraces Christianity and legions of the NFL’s top players have carried the cross with various levels of openness, there has never been a player like Tebow who so boldly, so proudly and so gracefully expressed devotion that the player known for his goodness has actually drawn a more visceral reaction than those players who are at their core, truly bad.”

Mind-boggling, isn’t it? Definitely from my perspective, but let’s go back to the SI writer referred to earlier for a moment. Why did he hope nothing but the worst for Tim Tebow’s career? According to Carpenter, because of Tebow’s “evangelical Christianity and the mission of his father Bob Tebow’s evangelistic ministry in the Philippines which boasts fundamentalist interpretations of the Bible.”

As I now know firsthand, Carpenter assessed the situation pretty accurately. Even though I trusted Carpenter’s word at it, being the kind of guy I am, I wanted to read the words of the SI writer, Jeff Pearlman, for myself. I wanted to see why he seemingly hates Tim Tebow for being a Christian.

In his blog, Pearlman wrote the following on 2-2-10, in part:

Tim Tebow scares me, and—judging from his father’s website, his upcoming Super Bowl ad and mounting knowledge of his way of life—he should scare you, too. Tim Tebow doesn’t play football merely for the joy of the game. He plays football because he wants to spread the word of Jesus Christ. But not merely spread it. He wants you to accept it and, if you don’t embrace it, he wants you to think again about embracing it. And, if you still don’t embrace it, he wants you to think again. And again. And again. If, in the end, you’re still not sold, you will burn in hell. This is not merely Tim Tebow’s opinion—but he knows it, in his soul and heart and mind. Christians who accept Jesus will spend an eternity in bliss. Those who don’t are doomed.

Some call this faith.

I call it f***ing insanity.

And there you have it.

Jeff Pearlman, writer for Sports Illustrated, not only wants Tim Tebow to fail as a player in the National Football League, he doesn’t mind calling bible-believing Christians everywhere “f**king insane”. (Nice touch, Pearlman. Sports Illustrated must be VERY proud to have a prejudiced guy like you writing for them – a man so filled with anti-Christian hatred you hope to see athletes and decent human beings like Tim Tebow fail!)

What makes bible-believing Christians so wacko in the eyes of the apparently ultra-sane Jeff Pearlman? Here’s what Pearlman quoted from Tim Tebow’s dad’s website, which he must believe qualifies him to make that assessment:

• Jesus tells us in John 4:35b, “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest!” For over 23 years, BTEA has focused on the incredible harvest of souls that are being reaped within the Philippines; but like any harvest, it is certain to be ripe only for a season.

• Our PLAN is to preach the Gospel in every village in the Philippines in the next few years. The task is great, but God specializes and delights in doing the impossible! We intend to increase our staff of national evangelists to 60. By dividing the country into theaters of operation, with each evangelist assigned to a specific area, and working extremely hard, we intend to preach the Gospel in every village.

• We believe in a literal Tribulation period after the rapture that will last seven years. This time period reflects the shift in God’s working from the Church to Israel. It is during this time that the antichrist will appear. There will be people saved during this period, but many will be martyred. As the Tribulation period comes to a close, the armies of the world will gather at Armageddon. The Lord will then return to the earth to defeat the armies arrayed against Israel and to reign over the whole earth (Revelation 19:11-16; Zechariah 14:1-11). This is the physical, literal thousand-year Millennial rule of Christ on earth. The time will be marked by peace (Zechariah 8:45), righteousness (Isaiah 32:1), and prosperity (Isaiah 35:1-7), and the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord (Isaiah 2:2-3). During this time, Satan will be bound.

• We believe that at the end of the Millennium there will be one final rebellion of man ending in a last battle and victory of God. The universe will be destroyed, followed by the judgment at the Great White Throne. Here, all of the unregenerate of all time will be raised from the dead (rather, reunited with their bodies, for the unsaved dead are in hell now [Luke 16:19-31]) and judged on the basis of their works. Everyone judged according to his or her works will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity (Revelation 20:11-15).

The Prophetic Connection?

Jesus Christ prophesied that His Church would be hated in the future just as He was hated during His ministry here on earth.

John 15:18-22:

18. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

20. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

21. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

22. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.In the final verse posted above we see why the world hated Christ, why many in the world of professional football and associated with it hate Tim Tebow, and, indeed, why all bible-believing Christians are hated by the world!

If Jesus hadn’t told the world of its sin, it never would’ve known it had any! The same is true of Tim Tebow, you and I if we’re publicly sharing our faith. The last thing the nonbelieving world wants to hear, as is clearly visible in Jeff Pearlman’s anti-Christian rant, is we are all accountable to God for our conduct and run the risk of eternal damnation in hell each and every day we refuse to repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

Bad and getting worse

When I went to bed last night, having read all of this prior to retiring for the evening, I couldn’t help but think how quickly things have changed in our world. Right is wrong, wrong is right, heroes are villains, villains are heroes and Christians are considered hatemongers!

Not too many years ago, teams in the National Football League (or any major sport for that matter) would’ve been thrilled to have a Tim Tebow in their locker room – a guy who, barring a stumble, is going to be scandal-free, family friendly and a model sportsman, but not today.

In today’s world, Tim Tebow – a gifted athlete who appeared in a commercial with his mom to celebrate that she didn’t choose to abort him prior to birth – is being treated by some as damaged goods for nothing more than scribbling a scripture verse in his eye black and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those willing to hear him! Remember what you read earlier? That alone was enough for a front office executive in the AFC to say he doesn’t “want any part of him”! It’s a sign of the times, Christians – a sad statement about the spiritual condition of the world we’re living in, one that’s worsening by the moment I might add.

Who doesn’t like a good circus?

It’s likely, whether it be tonight or in the days ahead, someone in the NFL is going to draft Tim Tebow to their team which, if we are to believe the unnamed AFC executive referred to above, means the “circus” that is Tim Tebow’s Christian faith is going to be headed to someone’s favorite NFL team soon.

As for me, I’ve always been a Dallas Cowboys fan but I’ll tell you this right now. Regardless of what team Tim Tebow goes to, as soon as I hear and his jersey number becomes available for purchase, I’m going to buy some merchandise purely in support of him – even if he ends up playing for the dreaded Washington Redskins. Why? Because I’m a Christian and Tim Tebow, no matter whose team he is on, is my brother in Christ.

Besides, I’ve always liked a good circus, minus the creepy clowns.

Poll: Obama Gets Thumbs Down on Israel

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Genesis 12:3

Even “non-believers” recognize who valuable an ally Israel is to us and are starting to take Obama to task over his treatment of them.

Washington (CNN) – Only a third of Americans approve of the way President Obama’s handling the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, according to a new national poll.

A Quinnipiac University survey released Thursday morning indicates that 35 percent of the public gives the president a thumbs up on how he’s dealing with the situation between Israel and the Palestinians, with 44 percent saying they disapprove, and just over one in five unsure.

This stands in contrast with how Americans feel about Obama’s overall handling of foreign policy, with 48 percent approving and 42 percent saying they disapprove.

According to the poll, two-thirds of Jewish voters disapprove of how the president’s handling Israeli-Palestinian relations, with 28 percent saying they approve. Jewish voters were big backers of Obama in the 2008 presidential election, with exit polls indicating that nearly eight of ten backed the Democratic candidate.

Two-thirds of people questioned in the survey say that the president should be a strong supporter of Israel but, by a 42 percent to 34 percent margin, voters say Obama’s not a strong supporter of Israel.

Relations between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and the Obama administration have soured in recent months over Israel’s continued housing construction in East Jerusalem.

Israel seized East Jerusalem from Jordan during the Six Day War in 1967, and considers it part of its sovereign capital – a claim not recognized by the international community.

Palestinians want East Jerusalem as the future capital of their state.

ObamaCare, Amnesty Equals Expanded Democratic Control

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

What better way to make people vote for you than to give them handouts and promise to continue to do so as long as they keep voting for you? That is the Democrat plan.

Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) is one of several members of Congress who have introduced legislation to repeal the recent healthcare reform package — or what has come to be known as “ObamaCare.” He believes the legislation’s main objective is to expand the Democratic power base.

“ObamaCare is, in a large part, about expanding the existing dependency class so that the people [who] support and promote it — Obama and his [fellow] Democrats — can have a stronger and longer lasting political base,” King explains. “It’s about perpetual Democrat control of America.”

The congressman adds that the president’s effort to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens is another way to expand the Democrats’ base.

“Tell them when they arrive here that ‘we’ll give you a path to citizenship and you cash into this giant ATM called America; but in exchange, you need to vote for the Democrats who supported amnesty.’ That is expanding again the dependency class for political power,” King continues.

Comedy Central Censors ‘South Park’ Episode After Muslim Site’s Threats

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

The Muslims have once again stifled free speech with threats of violence and bloodshed. The self proclaimed “religion of peace” has once again shown its true colors of being a religion of blood thirsty bullies.

Comedy Central bleeped out all references to the Prophet Muhammad in Wednesday night’s episode of the animated show “South Park.”

The episode was a continuation of last week’s episode which depicted the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit.

A radical Muslim website threatened the show’s creators following that episode.

Comedy Central confirmed to that it had censored the show, and that the episode was not available on its website.

In addition to bleeping the words “Prophet Muhammad,” the show also covered the character with a large block labeled “Censored.”

A radical Islamic website had warned the creators of “South Park” that they could face violent retribution for their depiction of Prophet Muhammad. posted the warning following the 200th episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s “South Park,” which included a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad disguised in a bear suit. The web posting also included a graphic photo of Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a documentary on violence against Muslim women.

“We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show,” the posting reads. “This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.”

Abu Talhah al Amrikee, the author of the post, told he wrote the entry to “raise awareness.” He said the grisly photograph of van Gogh was meant to “explain the severity” of what Parker and Stone did by mocking Muhammad.

“It’s not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome,” al Amrikee said, referring to the possibility that Parker and Stone could be murdered for mocking Muhammad. “They’re going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It’s just the reality.”

Al Amrikee said the website is considering a protest against the “disgusting” show, which also depicted the Prophet Muhammad in an episode on July 4, 2001.

“This is not a small thing,” he said. “We should do whatever we can to make sure it does not happen again.”

The posting on also includes audio of a sermon by Anwar al-Awlaki — a radical U.S.-born preacher now believed to be hiding in Yemen — who discusses assassinating individuals who defame the Prophet Muhammad. It also included a link to a 2009 story in the Huffington Post that gave details of Stone and Parker’s mansion in Colorado.

A Comedy Central rep told that the network has no comment on the posting.
