ACLU Investigating Trooper Who Apprehends 14 Illegals

In case there is someone out there who has not yet figured out the purpose of the ACLU, let me try to help – their sole purpose is to oppose what is right and defend what is wrong. It seems that their newest victim is a Rhode Island State Trooper who was simply doing his job when pulling over a vehicle on a routine traffic stop. It seems that the vehicle was filled with 14 illegal immigrants who had no form of ID. When the trooper found out they had no identification, he called the Department of Homeland Security. Seems like standard operating procedure to me, but the ACLU calls in racial profiling. The man was doing his best to help make our country a safe place to live and now he is being hounded by satan’s favorite organization. Give me a break!

The American Civil Liberties Union is investigating a Rhode Island state trooper who apprehended 14 illegal immigrants during a traffic stop, charging “racial profiling” and insisting the officer had no right to ask for ID.

The Rhode Island affiliate of the ACLU filed the case after the driver and several passengers alleged Trooper Thomas Chabot overstepped his authority during the July 11 traffic stop by taking immigration enforcement into his own hands, the Providence Journal reported.

However, asking for identification during traffic stops is a department procedure, and when the passengers could not provide valid ID, Chabot contacted officials with the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division.

I’m with you on this one, Beth. The trooper was doing his job. He shouldn’t come under fire from anyone.
I come closer every day to believing that the ACLU has a secret boardroom somewhere with a picture of Satan hanging at the head of the room.
How can anyone support an organization that is so anti-Right (right as in “correct”) They do seem go after just about anything and anyone who is doing the “right” (or correct) thing.

I am not sure about a picture of satan at the head of the boardroom, but I definitely think that he chairs the meetings in person.
