State Marriage Amendments — 19 In a Row … and Counting

With this many states making ammendments to their constitutions in order to support in no uncertain terms that a marriage is between a man and woman only, the people of the nation are speaking out very clearly as to what their wishes are.
When is the federal government going to wake up??
More states are sure to pass similar amendments in the future.
The bottom line is…the majority of the people in this country do not want gay marriage. Period.

    Wow! That’s great. Even our out of control judiciary can’t ignore that loud of a voice from the American public, can they? Oh….you’re right, they have no problem ignoring huge majority votes to push their political agenda. Congress might have to wake up though. They seem to be having serious trouble acting like Republicans though, and they refuse to understand that they were given a majority of seats by the American people. The wonderful “club of 14” moderatem conservative Senators need to lose their jobs…badly.

    I’m hoping that if Alito gets put on the SCOTUS bench, then any appeal of this ruling to that level will be ruled down. Maybe a new SCOTUS will believe in the rights of a state to define marriage any way they want.
