Gasoline The “Political Pawn” For Dems

Senator Bunning (R-Kentucky) says the best way to address high gas prices is to get more fuel to the market, but Democrats are “sitting on their hands” and preventing that from happening.

He contends Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) is ignoring the toll that gas prices are taking on family budgets in order to protect Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) from angering the liberal wing of the Democratic Party – special interests opposed to oil drilling.

GOP and Democratic logos”Simply put, Democrats are doing everything they can to avoid the energy debate because they know they are losing it,” says Bunning. “They know Republicans are right when they say we need to find more and use less.”
