I've heard many people say that they just don't think God is listening or that they don't think God is near because He hasn't answered their prayers. I must admit that there have been times when I have felt this way but over the years, it has become increasingly clear too me, that in order to hear God, we must first be quiet and seek His voice. The peace that comes over me when I am listening for God's voice is amazing. Please try listening... you might well be amazed at the things you hear.

Cook's Nook:
Jell-O Cake
1 white cake mix
1 large box cherry jello
1 tub cool whip
Maraschino cherries optional

Directions:
Bake cake mix according to directions. Mix jello according to directions and while cake is still warm, poke holes through cake and pour gelatin all over cake. Put cake in refrigerator and let set for several hours or until gelatin has set up in cake. Top with whipped topping and cherries just before serving. Enjoy!
