John F. Kennedy, a former president, was once quoted stating his definition of happiness. He said, “Happiness is the full use of your powers along the lines of excellence.” If that is happiness then why would someone obey a double faced government? Unless they were trained to think that bowing down to a seemingly absolute power was fulfilling.
To obey is to surrender yourself before your superior. Today’s government demands that men that once stood tall with their faith in Jesus, now kneel down with fear of prosecution. Many are victims of the immigrated religions and ideals. The main religion prosecuting Christianity is Islam.

This comment is just for Lyn. I myself am almost entirely white, with the exception of some Polynesian heritage. However, the concept of racism is to me one of the most disgusting things I can conceive. Just because you are racist should I hate all white people? No. I am really hoping that you open yourself to what Steve is saying. Not for a religion, but for your fellow man. Thanks, Patrick.

Billy Joe,
I didn't like giving up my freedoms under Bush any better than I like it under Obama.

Lyn,
Thanks for the comments. Please keep them clean. Still don't like your racist website. Wish you'd reconsider your views in that regard. We are all equal in God's eyes.
Praying for you.

Well, during the Bush era and the warrantless wiretapping and violations of Constitutional protection against warrantless searches, the neo-coonservatives were fond of proclaiming "if you've done nothing wrong, then you've nothing to worry about".
-
Shouldn't that same mindset hold true today? Or has the morbidity of hypocrisy come home to the practitioners of that black craft?
-
So, what's the problem?

Thanks for the link. I appreciate the thoughtful commentary, too. I've been reading a lot of blog posts and cursing a lot of comments.

Anyway here's as clean as I can put it: Yes it's that bad. This liberal suspicion of the rest of us is bad. Homeland Security is suspicious of returning American veterans because they might be turned into domestic terrorists. Just like those jihadists who survived the Russia-Afghanistan conflict and returned home to their countries.

DHS comments are insulting at the least. The great, great majority of American servicemembers are extremely patriotic. They won't have anything to do with anti-government acts. Most American right-wingers are also extremely patriotic and won't have anything to do with whatever the DHS is afraid of.

Homeland Security needs to concentrate on African and Arab terrorists. If they solve that threat then they need to concenterate on the US-Mexico border. Leave the rest of us discontents alone. We're US citizens with rights and this is our country too [edited].
