One-Thousand Hits!!

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

Thank you, blog viewers, for the 1,000th view of Jesus is Lord, A Worshipping Christian’s Blog!!

Let me explain why this is import to me.

Aside from the fact that it means people are seeing the blog and hopefully turning to the Word of God as a result (which is the primary purpose), it means that one thousand individuals have viewed this site.

When I set up the counter, I made it so that it would only increment on discrete hits from completely different users. It shouldn’t increment when I, or anyone who has already visited the site, comes back to check it again. It has to be someone who has not been here before.

Anyway, thank you folks so much for reading the blog!!

May God Bless All of You.

Christmas Day, December 25th, has a past and prophetic significance

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

From Jimmy DeYoung over at Prophecy Today.

“A church council that met in the year 325 AD decided that the date December 25th would be the designated date for the celebration of the birth of the Son of God, the Messiah, Jesus Christ. This date conformed to the date marking the desecration of the Temple in Jerusalem by Antiochus Epiphanes in 168 BC on Kislev 25, Kislev being the Jewish month of December.Interestingly, Kislev 25, December 25th, three years to the date after the Temple was desecrated, marks the time that the Temple was reconsecrated by the Macabees in Kislev 25 or December 25th, 165 BC. Finding a flask of oil it good for lighting the Menorah for only one day, it stayed lit for eight days, thus the Jewish holy day of Chanukkah, also known as the Feast of Dedication or the Feast of Lights. Jesus Christ celebrated the Jewish holy day Chanukkah in John 10:22 and as the Light of the world, John 8, 9, 11; the church council chose December 25th, the time for the Feast of Lights, as Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.”

Canada Legalizes “Sex Clubs” – “14-year-olds will be exploited”

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

Looks like it’s going to be one of those days…
The majority of the world really doesn’t have a clue. How can this be in the least bit good for people? It just makes no sense to me at all.

OTTAWA, Ontario, December 21, 2005 ( – The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that group sex in publicly accessible venues is legal.
In a ruling handed down this morning, Canada’s Supreme Court has declared it is legal for clubs to provide opportunities for group sex. As long as consent is given, the area is somewhat private, and no payment is directly involved, partner exchanging or “swinging” and group participation in sexual acts is not considered illegal.
“The decision is certainly in line with the tendency of this court to throw out any restrictions to behavior,” said Gwen Landolt, vice president of Real Women of Canada. “The courts are gradually reducing public concern about morality and behavior that is offensive. Judges don’t have legitimacy.”
“There is a real trend to break down moral principles in Canadian society. Those principles have been built based on human experience about what is in the best interest of society.”
With sex clubs now protected by Canada’s supreme court, the potential social repercussions are staggering. The age of sexual consent in Canada is 14. Canadian teenagers can now legally participate in group sex offered by clubs (so long as alcohol is not sold on the premises).
“The implications are horrendous,” said Landolt. “It’s an exploitation of human sexuality. 14-year-olds will be exploited.”

Groups Within UMC Confront Denomination’s Scripture-Affirming Rulings

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

With all do respect to my Methodist brothers and sisters who are true to God’s Word, do these groups within your fellowship know what a Bible is and how to read it? I have to suspect not…
I recommend reading the book of Leviticus and then hope over to 1 Corinthians. It’s pretty clear what God thinks about homosexuality.

(AgapePress) – A coalition of groups related to the United Methodist Church is calling on the denomination to reverse rulings by its highest court that went against homosexuals.
The “Here We Stand” coalition
has issued a statement urging the UMC to “embody God’s love” by reversing a Judicial Council decision that allowed a Virginia pastor to deny church membership to an unrepentant homosexual man. One of the signatories, retired clergyman Gilbert Caldwell with the group “United Methodists of Color for a Fully Inclusive Church,” likens “discrimination” against homosexuals in the United Methodist Church to racial prejudice blacks encountered during the civil rights era.
“One justifies prejudice or exclusion because one bases one’s exclusion on a negative stereotype,” says Caldwell, “whether we’re talking about women, whether we’re talking about blacks, whether we’re talking about gay persons.”
Caldwell, author of the new book What Mean These Stones, equates the UMC’s ban on homosexual clerty to “the Republican Party’s southern political strategy of an earlier time.”
He asserts that within the UMC “the ban against gays in the clergy, the hesitation about gay persons in some churches, represents a political strategy that sort of plays on the emotions of people.” In fact, he adds, he believes it “denigrates and minimizes the depth of our faith in who we say we are as a people called United Methodists.”
But such assertions are “absurd,” says Mark Tooley, a Methodist activist with the
Institute on Religion and Democracy. “Those who are attempting to overthrow the Church’s standards on Christian sexual teachings,” he contends, “have responded to these rulings with great hyperbole and exaggeration and a lot of apocalyptic rhetoric.”
Tooley maintains that recent Judicial Council rulings simply affirm scriptural and church teaching that sex is reserved for heterosexual marriage.

Nearing Midnight – Dealing with Iran (Repost)

Dec 19
Dealing with Iran

After months of playing diplomatic tag with the West, Iran has become emboldedened to press forward with its nuclear ambitions. It has refused to allow international inspectors to observe its so-called peaceful use of nuclear energy.
Increasingly, the U.S. does not appear to have the will to become involved in this problem. The Bush administration is under pressure from Congress and pro-Israel groups to take a hands-off stance toward Tehran. Anti-war doves want the nuclear issue referred to the U.N. Security Council, where sanctions could be imposed.
The question in everyone’s mind: Is Iran getting close to the “red line”–the point at which Iran will have enough enriched uranium to build a nuclear bomb? Because spy satellites are the way for us to monitor Iran’s progress, we can only guess at how close the radical Islamic state is to the danger line.
The implementation of sanctions against Iran may become a driving force in Tehran seeking to achieve nuclear capability. Once you become a nation with the bomb, the world has to treat you with greater respect.
Complicating the problem with Iran’s atomic program is the fact that the nation’s leader is a Jew-hating nutcase. In October, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Israel was a “tumor” that should be “wiped off the map.” This past week, he aggravated tensions with the West by calling the Holocaust a “myth.”
During Israel’s defense meetings, I’m sure Iran is a frequent main topic. It is a scary matter to have one of your neighbors be led by a Hitler-loving radical who is months away from gaining access to nuclear weapons. You can be certain that the Israeli government has some interesting plans in the making.
One possible target date could be this March. The London Sunday Times recently ran a story that said Israel is readying a military strike against Iran. In a briefing to Israeli lawmakers, Israel’s intelligence services said that by late March Iran will have reached the “point of no return.” The IAEA’s Mohammed el Baradei gave the United Nations a similarly dismal assessment.
If Israel should attack Iran’s nuclear program, a big concern would be Moscow’s reaction. Most of Iran’s nuclear components have “Made in Russia” on them. These nuclear reactors are not self-assembled. Russian technicians and scientists currently are hard at work in Iran building these facilities.
When Israel bombed Iraq’s Osirak nuclear facility near Baghdad, the French were partly assisted with that project. A strike on Iran would cause Russia to suffer a huge financial loss.
It’s too early to predict how an Israeli attack would play into a Gog invasion of Israel. The time being so short, any major event is almost certain to factor into the end-time scheme.
“And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords” (Ezek 38:3-4).

Repackaging Ancient Evil

Bible-centered, discerning Christians must be on the alert to dynamics rearranging the world system in preparation for the wrap-up of the age. Ancient evil is being repackaged–yet again—while this generation plunges toward the prophesied apocalypse.
Two areas I would like us to consider in regard to this repackaging are: 1) the New Age and 2) the New world Order. To get to the roots of “the New Age,” as it was called until some time in the 1990s, we must go back even further than the Garden of Eden, when Lucifer engaged the woman, Eve, in the following conversation:
“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen. 3:1-5).
But the true genesis of the very ancient movement the New Age devotees renamed and repackaged is found in eternity past:
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isa. 14:12-14).
From the moment Lucifer, soon to be renamed Satan, planted his own seed of desire to usurp the throne of God in Eve’s heart, human history has been set on a course leading to destruction. The downhill avalanche of evil has been gaining momentum throughout the ages, with God’s judgment having disrupted the plunge temporarily with the flood of Noah’s day. But, always Satan works in concert with the fallen human heart to repackage the evil called “sin.” Always the pyroclastic flow of the mystery of iniquity grows, and sweeps all of humankind toward the lake of fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
Whether in the antediluvian age or the so-called “new age,” Satan and his minions wrap sin in a beautiful, seductive package that appeals to sinful people’s desire to do what is right in their own eyes. The newest, latest packaging is more appealing –and appalling—than ever.
And the devil’s deceptiveness is more refined, more nuanced than ever before. When his many-faceted attack upon mankind called “New Age” drew effective fire from such Christian investigators as Dave Hunt and his exposes The Seduction of Christianity, and Beyond Seduction, the father of lies simply changed tactics. He went straight at the heart of the Church –that is, believers in Jesus Christ. He repackaged the same old lies in a covering called “new spirituality.”
Now, instead of trying to convince unbelievers and Christians that they must become one with some nebulous cosmogonal mind through eastern meditation, strange looking gurus, etc., Satan is succeeding in convincing growing numbers of Christian leaders that they must meet the unbelievers at least half way. Christianity must become “seeker-friendly.” That is, the body must become one with unbelievers, by reaching out in love, without any judgmentalism that speaks to sin or the necessity of the blood atonement of Christ.
We, as Christians, must preach and teach God’s love, because telling them about His judgment and wrath discourages the unbelievers from coming to them–the leaders who want to reach out and embrace –to absorb the masses in one big hugfest of forgiveness (an embrace, coincidentally, which, with psychology-based, corporate marketing strategies, help them build megachurches that don’t seem to differ much from the world’s multi-media entertainment domes).
But Jesus said, “ye must be born again” (John 3: 3). When the Holy Spirit calls the lost individual, that person must confess that he or she is a sinner and must ask Jesus Christ, who died to save sinners, to come into his or her life and make him or her one with God, the Father. This is the way –the only Way—to become a member of God’s family for eternity in Heaven (John 14:6).
The second repackaging of evil involves the geopolitical entity President George H.W. Bush termed “the new world order” 19 times in a series of speeches. That nomenclature for the developing one world system that Antichrist will one day head drew too much fire from Christians and others, and the term became politically incorrect. The new world order has since been rewrapped in a package called “the international community.”
We saw this ancient, yet contemporary beast in action just this past week. Iran, Israel’s chief nemesis–apart from Satan, himself—made this week, through its Hitler-like president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the call for a new holocaust against all Jews. The fact that the international community jumped to Israel’s defense is a paradoxical matter, if one believes the international community is a likely precursor to Antichrist’s 10-toes kingdom of Daniel 2, and his 10-horned beast state of Revelation 17. That final humanistic world order before Christ’s return is scheduled to perpetrate the worst holocaust ever suffered by the Jews (Jeremiah 30: 7). So, why the quick condemnation of Iran, and the jump to defend Israel’s right to exist?
The answer might lie within one of the devil’s most sinister repackaging ruses. The international community is demonstrating at present that it can act as a guarantor of Israel’s peace and safety. This is precisely the thing Antichrist –the Prince that shall come mentioned in Daniel 9: 26—is prophesied to do: “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…” (Daniel 9:27a).
But, that “peace” offered by the devil’s man–the rider on the white horse of Revelation 6:2–will be the peace that shall destroy many (Daniel 8:25).
The Lord Jesus and His gospel message, found in God’s Word, the Bible, needs no repackaging. The Lord is faithful to all of His promises. Let us who name the name of Christ remain faithful to Him in these closing days of this evil age.

Messianic Expectations Soar with the Completion of the Blue Robe

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

(Re-Post of the original article. See Exodus 28:31-35 for other details. -ed.)

Excitement permeated the air as the blue robe for the High Priest was put on display this week in the city of Jerusalem. Expecting the return of their long awaited Messiah upon the completion of the building of the Third Temple, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem is one step closer to the realization of their dream. With a majority of the implements and furniture for the Third Temple already completed, the Blue Robe to be worn by the next High Priest of Israel is a welcome addition. The robe itself is an exquisite work of craftsmanship. Made to the strictest adherence to the Biblical text, the robe is completely woven of blue wool with 72 golden bells around the hem of the garment. It is decorated with dark blue embroidery around the edges and intricately woven pomegranates between each of the bells. Exodus 28 describes each of the garments the High Priest was to wear. After three years of hard work the Temple Institute has completed an authentic replica of “the robe of the ephod”. Attention was given to every detail and the end result is stunning.Jewish authorities believe that upon the completion and dedication of the Third Temple the Messiah will appear. In order for the Temple to be properly dedicated there must be a High Priest and the High Priest must be properly dressed. All of the garments for the next High Priest are now complete. The Jewish people have been waiting for 2000 years for the completion of the Third Temple and they are closer now than they have ever been to seeing the realization of that goal. The culmination of many events in our lifetime seem to indicate an emanate appearance of the Jewish Messiah and the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple. For the first time in 2000 years the Jewish people have a sovereign nation with Jerusalem as its capital. Jewish people are returning to their homeland by the thousands each year just as the Jewish prophets foretold. The Jewish people are also preparing for a Third Temple and have completed the High Priestly garments. Even the dye used in the Blue Robe is a direct indication of a Messianic appearance. It has been unavailable for thousands of years but is now readily available from a small crustacean which makes its home in the Mediterranean Sea. These are only a few of the prophecies that have been fulfilled in our lifetime which strongly suggest a soon appearance of the long awaited Messiah.

Expelled lesbians sue Christian high school

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

Watch this case closely and pray that God’s Word will prevail.

Two students expelled allegedly for being lesbians have filed a lawsuit against a Christian high school.
The complaint claims the
California Lutheran High School Association – which oversees operation of a high school in Wildomar, Calif. – engaged in discrimination, invasion of privacy and unfair business practices in its handling and ultimate dismissal of two juniors, who are not named to protect their privacy, the North County Times in Southern California reported.
The students were called into the office of Principal Gregory Bork Sept. 7, the lawsuit claims, where Bork “individually and separately interrogated the (students) in a closed room, without the parents’ knowledge or consent … and asked (them) inappropriate and personal questions such as whether they loved one another and were lesbians.”
“In such a manner, Bork coerced one of the (students) to admit that she ‘loves’ the other,” a court document states.
The next day, the parents received a phone call from Bork informing them the board had decided to expel the students. One day later, the parents confronted the principal in person and by phone and were told the two girls could not remain at school “with those feelings.”
Bork wrote a letter Sept. 15 to the parents stating “while there is no open physical contact between the two girls, there is still a bond of intimacy … characteristic of a lesbian (relationship). … Such a relationship is unchristian. To allow the girls to attend (Cal Lutheran) … would send a message to students and parents that we either condone this situation and/or will not do anything about it. That message would not reflect our beliefs and principles.”
The complaint calls on the courts to prevent the school from expelling other students based on its perception of their sexual orientation and asks for punitive damages in excess of $25,000, the Times reported.
State Attorney General Bill Lockyer called the lawsuit groundbreaking.
“This is an unsettled area of the law,” Nathan Barankin, communications director for the attorney general, told the Times. “The public policy issues are religious freedom versus the right not to be discriminated against.”
But the students’ attorney, Christopher Hayes, said he doesn’t believe it is literally new legal ground.
“We believe that California law is clear,” he said. “The California Unruh Civil Rights Act … prohibits businesses from discriminating against people for various reasons.”
The Unruh law requires “full and equal accommodations in all business establishments,” including with regard to sexual orientation.
Hayes argues the school is not a church, but a fee-taking institution.
“They accept non-Christians and … they accept Jews, who as a fundamental doctrine of their religion do not accept Jesus Christ,” he argued. “What can be more antithetical to Christianity than Judaism? California law says you cannot pick and choose who you discriminate against.”
Tom Scott, vice president of operations for the Association of Christian Schools International, however, pointed out private schools don’t operate under public schools’ standards.
He told the Times the situation is similar to public schools expelling students for drug use or violence. Public and private schools, he explained, can expel a student who engages in a destructive lifestyle.

Recent Rulings Leave Evolution Opponents, ID Advocates Dissatisfied

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

More views on the Intelligent Design vs. evolution debate and the recent decisions of the courts.

(AgapePress) – Pro-family voices are criticizing two recent court decisions involving the controversy over how two hotly debated origins theories — namely, Darwinian evolution and “intelligent design,” or “ID” — are to be presented in U.S. classrooms.
Christian attorney Brian Fahling of the
American Family Association Center for Law & Policy (AFA Law Center) is decrying a recent court decision that forced a suburban Atlanta school district to remove disclaimer stickers describing evolution as a theory — not a fact — from high school biology textbooks. Georgia’s Cobb County School System is asking the Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to overrule the judge who found the stickers to be an unconstitutional endorsement of religion.
Challenge to Evolution Prompts “Histrionic Response” The stickers made no reference to God or religion, but opponents claim they are a “backdoor” attempt to introduce biblical creationism into schools. The court heard arguments in the case last Thursday.
Brian Fahling
Fahling, the AFA Law Center’s senior trial attorney, backs the evolution disclaimers, which he says merely encourage students to approach material on evolution “with an open mind.” The pro-family attorney asserts, “It is beyond the capacity, I think, of any reasonable mind to comprehend how the lower court judge in this case could have sniffed out a religious purpose in that. It really is a histrionic response to a questioning of evolution.”
And it’s an honest questioning, the pro-family lawyer contends. “Nothing in that sticker is false. Everything is accurate.” If there is any “reason or common sense left in our courts, the Eleventh Circuit will toss out the lower court ruling,” he adds. “I’m very hopeful that the Eleventh Circuit will strike it.”
The difficulty, Fahling notes, “is that the Supreme Court has developed a body of jurisprudence on the Establishment Clause that allows a religious purpose to be sniffed out merely when a single person may be a Christian and may have suggested a particular idea that in and of itself is secular.”
Judge Bans Mention of ID in Pennsylvania Schools Meanwhile, intelligent design supporters across the U.S. are denouncing a court decision handed down yesterday in Pennsylvania by Judge John Jones III. In that case, the federal judge ruled that the Dover Area School Board unconstitutionally tried to promote religion by ordering teachers to mention intelligent design before classes on evolution. Jones struck down the rule that made intelligent design a part of the district’s biology classes.
An Associated Press report notes that the executive director of the Americans United for Separation of Church and State applauded the Pennsylvania judge’s ruling, calling the decision good for both science and religious freedom. The Dover Area School Board’s new president told AP the school officials have “no intent to appeal” the judge’s ban. She noted that intelligent design, which maintains that life is too complex to have evolved by accident, will likely be shifted into some elective social studies class. But Christian radio commentator and author Brannon Howse, president and founder of
Worldview Weekend, feels the ruling adds more proof to the already mounting evidence that the “Secular Left” is not secular at all. “I’m tired of the Secular Left saying evolution is scientific, and creation or intelligent design is not,” he says. “No, they are, by the very definition of science, both religious issues. But today we’re discriminating against the religion of one for the other.”
Secular humanism is a religion, Howse contends, and those who practice it hold to evolution as their worldview for biology. However, he maintains, “The reality is, science is observation and repeatable experiment. That’s the definition of science. None of us observed the creation of the world; we can’t repeat it. Therefore, guess what? Evolution is not scientific; creationism is not a scientific discussion. Both of them are religious discussions.
Howse says, as a Christian, he is angered by the ruling and feels Americans should be prompted by it to protest their country’s runaway judiciary. “The federal courts have no authority in the area of education,” he explains. “The Constitution makes it clear according to the Tenth Amendment that, unless it is mentioned as being a right of the federal government, it belongs to the state.”
The Worldview Weekend founder insists that if Pennsylvania wants to teach creation or ID, it can, according to a strict construction of the Constitution of the United States. In fact, he emphasizes, if Pennsylvania decides it wants to have Bible reading, school prayer, the Ten Commandments, the Constitution’s wording gives the state the right to do it.
Yesterday’s ruling on the Dover Area Schools’ evolution controversy is “more federal judicial tyranny,” Howse says, “and I hope this incites more people to be angry and to begin to throw out these thugs in black robes.”

More Hate from the RoP (Religion of Peace – aka Islam)

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

If muslims want the world to believe they are peace loving and just full of good graces, they better put a stop to this type of thing.

Child on TV: Jews are ‘dogs, villains’
Interview with Palestinian girl featured on Saudi channel

Saudi television featured an interview with a young Palestinian girl who called Jews “villains” and “dogs” and said the Palestinians have no desire for peace with Israel.
In the segment on Iqra TV aired Dec. 7, the young girl said that in 1948, “the Jews occupied our land, our country. They drove us out of our homes, and put us in tents. Then they would destroy our homes. They’d put our clothes out on the sand, and then demolish the homes. They would get them out, destroy their homes, demolish and bring them down.”
The excerpt, translated by the
Middle East Media Research Institute, can be viewed here.
The interviewer, referring to the 2000 incident Palestinians regard as a catalyst for the current intifada, or uprising, then asked, “Why did they do that to Muhammad Al-Dura?”
“Because they are Jews, villains, dogs. You see? That’s why.”
While Palestinians accused Israel forces of killing the 12-year-old boy, in fact, a
recent Los Angeles Times column pointed to confirmation the heart-wrenching, videotaped incident was a fraudulent piece of Palestinian street theater. WND has been reporting on the story since shortly after the incident occurred, providing updates since then.
Nevertheless, answering the question, the girl continued, “They shouldn’t do that, because it’s called killing. They shouldn’t do this. We are not their friends. They shouldn’t do this. We are Palestinians, and they are Jews. They should not shoot people.”
Asked if it’s possible Palestinians will one day reconcile with Jews, the girl answered, “No.”
“Don’t we want peace with them?” the interviewer asked.
“We don’t want anything,” she replied. “We don’t want anyone, not the Jews. … We want to live in security, see? We don’t want Jews, thieves, or villains.”

Apparently they do want something from the Jews. -ed.

She continued: “I don’t like hearing such news. It makes me very sad, because the martyrs die. It’s no joke, they die for real, by live bullets or rubber bullets, see? Rubber bullets have iron inside them. If a rubber bullet hits somebody, like that, he might … .”
The girl said she didn’t want war, but “if the war continues, and there is a big battle, the Jews … the Jews – we will drive them out of their homes. We will do it to the Jews. What they did to us we will do to them.”

Nothing like teaching the children about peace and forgiveness…

Palestinians boot Jews, now beg them for help

Thursday, December 22nd, 2005

What is scary here is that we are going to give these people their own country. Look everyone, they are really good at blowing up innocent civilians, but they don’t have a clue when it comes to how to actually do something constructive, like feed themselves.
As a side point before I go into the article, I have read people’s accounts of their tips to the Holly Land and invariably, they mention how clean and nice the cities and sites in Israel are and how dirty and broken down the cities and sites are in the pali controlled areas. Makes one wonder…

The Palestinians who took over the Jewish greenhouses in the Gaza Strip when Israel withdrew its communities from the area now are asking expelled farmers for advice after reportedly failing to reproduce the region’s famous insect-free vegetables, WND has learned.
Prior to Israel’s August withdrawal, the residents of Gaza’s Gush Katif slate of Jewish communities ran greenhouses known for producing high-quality insect-free vegetables. The Gush Katif gardens featured some of the most technologically advanced agricultural equipment and accounted for more than $100 million per year in exports to Europe. The greenhouses also supplied Israel with 75 percent of its own produce.

The hothouses were passed to the Palestinians in September in a $14 million deal brokered by former World Bank President James Wolfenson and several wealthy Jewish Americans.
Earlier this month, the Palestinians now running the greenhouses reportedly told the Israeli-Palestinian Economic Cooperation Fund they failed in their efforts to grow bug-free produce.
Now the Palestinian owners have asked the United States Agency for International Development, which has been involved in reconstruction efforts in Gaza, to hire former Jewish Gaza greenhouse owners as consultants for their declining vegetable businesses.
Eitan Hederi, a former Gaza farmer who represented Gush Katif residents in the Wolfenson greenhouse transfer told WND, “The Palestinians are privately turning to U.S. AID to hire us because we are experts in this kind of farming. It’s a really complex process that we engineered.”
Anita Tucker, an expelled Gaza resident and one of the pioneer farmers of Gush Katif, told WND, “I am not at all surprised the Palestinians are failing. When they worked in our greenhouses they needed to be monitored closely. Many didn’t understand certain things, like not using different kinds of chemicals. Plus when we were in Gaza, our efforts were blessed by God.”
(emphasis mine. -ed.)

It sure seems to me that the RoP (religion of peace) and the pali’s mess up everything they touch. I hope they can get their act together soon and be at least somewhat productive.
