Christian-Arab Predicts World Islam Takeover – Unless…

Monday, March 19th, 2007

A must read article at Arutz Sheva.

( “When will you Westerners realize that half-measures don’t work with people who are willing to die by the thousands for Allah to achieve their goal?” This was the upshot of a recent conversation between a Holocaust survivor living in Herzliya and a Christian-Arab living in the Galilee.

Following are excerpts from the Christian-Arab’s remarks, based on article by Solly Ganor for FrontPage Magazine:

“I have to tell you something which very few of you seem to comprehend. Your [Israel’s] bungling war against a few thousand Hizbullah fighters which you should have crushed no matter what, considering the importance of the outcome, has created a completely new situation, not only for this area, but globally. Your inept leadership totally misunderstood the importance of winning this war.

“As a matter of fact, the whole Moslem world, not only the Arabs, simply couldn’t believe that the mighty Israeli Army that defeated the combined Arab forces in six days in 1967, and almost captured Cairo and Damascus in 1973, couldn’t defeat a small army of Hizbullah men. As usual the Moslems see things the way they want to see things. Most think that the present generation of Israelis have gone soft and can be defeated.

“The American bungling of the war in Iraq only added to their conviction that victory not only over Israel but also over the West is not only possible, but certain. The ramifications of these two bungling wars may bring an Islamic bloody Tsunami all over the West, not only in Israel. The sharks smell blood and these two wars gave them the green light to attack sooner than they had in mind. Your problem is that you are on the defensive and they have the option to choose the time and the places when and where to attack and there is nothing much you can do about it.

“When will you Westerners realize that half-measures don’t work with people who are willing to die by the thousands for Allah to achieve their goal? In their eyes the Western World is simply an abomination on earth that has to be wiped out.

“The Americans, the Europeans, and even you Israelis really don’t know what it is all about, do you? During the last generation hundreds of thousands of children have been taught all over the Moslem world in Madrass schools to become martyrs for Allah in order to kill the infidels. These youngsters not only are ready to do it, but are actually in the process of doing it. Bombs are going off all over the world killing and maiming thousands of people, not only on 9/11 in the US, in London Madrid and Bali, but in Africa, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and many other places. The first signs of the Islamic Tsunami are already here, but the West doesn’t understand, or doesn’t want to understand what is coming.

Islamist Website Instructs Mujahideen in Using Popular U.S. Web Forums to Foster Anti-War Sentiment among Americans

Monday, March 19th, 2007

OK, really long title to this post, but in a nutshell, the Islamic Terrorist have figured out that most Americans are horribly ignorant (not stupid, but ignorant of what is going on outside of their immediate sphere of influence) and self adsorbed. They are therefore advocating making up anti-war “stories”, that the average American will believe and passing them off as truth, . These “stories will also tug at their heart-strings and cause the average American to stop supporting the war against terror. Check this out:
“As part of this endeavor, they have posted jihad films on popular free video-sharing websites such as YouTube, LiveLeak, and Google Video, hoping that such films will tip public opinion in the West against the war in Iraq and Afghanistan – thus pressuring Western governments to withdraw their troops from these countries.”
Put simply, Not supporting the war against terror is in fact supporting terrorist.

“Raiding American Forums is Among the Most Important Means of Obtaining Victory in the Fierce Media War… and of Influencing the Views of the Weak-Minded American

“There is no doubt, my brothers, that raiding American forums is among the most important means of obtaining victory in the fierce media war… and of influencing the views of the weak-minded American who pays his taxes so they will go to the infidel American army. This American is an idiot and does not [even] know where Iraq is… [It is therefore] mandatory for every electronic mujahid [to engage in this raiding].”

“It is better that you raid non-political forums such as music forums and trivia forums… which American people… favor… Define your target[ed forum]… and get to know it well… Post your contribution and do not get into… futile arguments…”

Indicate You Are an American

Obviously, you have to register yourself using a purely American name… Choose an icon that indicates that you are an American, and place it next to your nickname [in the forum].”

“In my experience, the areas most visited in American forums… [are titled] ‘Random Thoughts’ and ‘What’s going on in your mind?’… [The former] takes priority in the American forums, and is highly popular. You should post your contribution there… This should include films of the mujahideen in Iraq, mujahideen publications in English, and images and films of the Americans’ crimes, [such as] killing unarmed civilians in Iraq… etc.”

“Invent Stories About American Soldiers You Have [Allegedly] Personally Known”

“Obviously, you should post your contribution… as an American… You should correspond with visitors to this forum, [bringing to their attention] the frustrating situation of their troops in Iraq… You should invent stories about American soldiers you have [allegedly] personally known (as classmates… or members in a club who played baseball and tennis with you) who were drafted to Iraq and then committed suicide while in service by hanging or shooting themselves…”

“Also, write using a sad tone, and tell them that you feel sorry for your [female] neighbor or co-worker who became addicted to alcohol or drugs… because her poor fiancé, a former soldier in Iraq, was paralyzed or [because] his legs were amputated… [Use any story] which will break their spirits, oh brave fighter for the sake of God…”

How to Make Americans Feel Frustrated With Their Government

“You should enter into debate or respond only if it is extremely necessary… Your concern should [only] be introducing topics which… will cause [them to feel] frustration and anger towards their government…, which will… render them hostile to Bush… and his Republican Party and make them feel they must vote ton bring the troops back from Iraq as soon as possible.”

“Do not… discuss issues pertaining to Arabs or Muslims at all, whether negatively or positively… because this could be a trap for you… In addition, do not ask people to circulate the material [you have posted] in other forums… as these types of requests will expose you…”

“Homosexuality Is Immoral” by Todd Strandberg of Rapture Ready

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Well, it looks like if I’m going to write an article condemning homosexuality, I better do it now. In the not-so-distant future, attacks on the alternative lifestyle might get me flogged and tossed into the stockade.

In the past few months, several media uproars have signaled an abrupt shift towards the acceptance of homosexuality as a normal sexual practice. The year is not yet into its fourth month and four well-known individuals have already been called on the carpet for speaking negatively of gays.

At the January Golden Globe awards, “Gray’s Anatomy” actor Isaiah Washington used the word “faggot” to describe costar T.R. Knight. After news of his remark surfaced, Washington was forced to apologize for his “unfortunate use of words during the recent incident.” He also entered “rehab” to deal with his homophobic issues.

In February, NBA player Tim Hardaway got into trouble for speaking his mind on the wrong subject. Asked during a radio interview for Miami’s 790 how he would deal with a gay teammate, Hardaway said he “wouldn’t want him on my team.” When Dan Le Batard asked Hardaway if he realized that his remarks were homophobic and bigoted, Hardaway responded, “Well, you know I hate gay people, so I let it be known. I don’t like gay people and I don’t like to be around gay people. I am homophobic. I don’t like it. It shouldn’t be in the world or in the United States.” Hardaway lost major endorsements and was penalized by the league.

On March 2, Ann Coulter got into trouble for a speech she gave at a major gathering of political conservatives. While making a series of jokes about Democrats, Coulter said, “I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, but it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot.’ So … I can’t really talk about Edwards.” Anyone familiar with Coulter would know that this is standard fare from her. A year ago, she called former Vice President Al Gore a “total fag” on national television, and it barely caused a stir. This time around, the reaction could not be called tame. Coulter has been blacklisted by nearly every major media organization.

Marine General Peter Pace is the most recent person to draw fire for speaking negatively of homosexuals. In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Pace compared homosexual activity to adultery and said the military should not condone it. “As an individual, I would not want (acceptance of gay behavior) to be our policy, just like I would not want it to be our policy that if we were to find out that so-and-so was sleeping with somebody else’s wife, that we would just look the other way, which we do not. We prosecute that kind of immoral behavior,” Pace said.

There is no justification for calling someone defamatory names like queer and faggot. The Bible says we will stand in judgment for calling someone a fool and are in danger of hell fire for labeling someone as an idiot. With that being said, nothing is wrong with saying homosexuality is immoral. Having called sin for what it is, General Pace has no reason to offer an apology.

The Bible includes a long list of passages that condemn homosexual practices. I’ve always been baffled by people who try to gloss over God’s strong condemnation of this type of activity. Rather than trying to reform Christianity, my recommendation would be for these people to start from scratch their own gay-friendly religion. For some strange reason, George and Bob want to walk down the aisle and receive marital blessings from a deity that promises to someday send them both to the lake of fire for their abomination.

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them” (Lev. 20:13).

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet” (Rom. 1:26-27)

The driving force behind the effort to legitimize homosexuality is the liberal media. Satan is a spiritual entity that lacks the ability to act in this physical realm. He also lacks the ability to be in more than one place at the same time. To get around his limitation, the devil and his legion of fallen angles utilize the services of human organizations to the fulfill their demonic agenda. The various media outlets have been the perfect tool with which to control the fate of the nation.

The normalization of the gay lifestyle is probably the last major step in Satan’s master plan for total moral corruption. Once homosexuality is freed of any social restrictions, the world will have arrived at the level reached by Sodom and Gomorrah. As a dispensationalist who believes in continual stage of development, I can only conclude that divine judgment is made all the more certain by reaching this end zone.

Jewish Seminary Accepts First Openly Gay Students

Monday, March 19th, 2007

A Los Angeles Jewish Seminary has decided to lift its ban on openly homosexual students. I am not Jewish, but I find it hard to believe that Jewish Law accepts homosexuality. Sounds like someone is going to have to answer to G-d for their liberal interpretation of the Law.

LOS ANGELES – A West Coast seminary for Conservative Judaism has accepted its first openly homosexual applicants since the movement decided to ease its ban on homosexual ordination.

The Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, based at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles, has admitted one homosexual man and one homosexual woman for the fall semester, a school spokeswoman said Tuesday. The Jewish Theological Seminary, the movement’s flagship school, is still debating its policy.

In December, a panel of scholars who interpret Jewish law for the movement voted to allow the seminaries to decide on their own whether to admit openly homosexual students.

But the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards left enough leeway to allow synagogues that consider same-sex relations contrary to Jewish law to bar homosexual clergy from their pulpits.

Conservative Judaism holds the middle ground in American Judaism, adhering to tradition while allowing some change for modern circumstances.

The larger and more liberal Reform Jewish branch, as well as the smaller Reconstructionist wing, allow homosexuals to become rabbis; the Orthodox bar homosexual men and women of any sexual preference from ordination.

Psalm 119 – Waw

Psalm 119:41-48 (New International Version)

ו Waw

41 May your unfailing love come to me, O LORD,
your salvation according to your promise;

42 then I will answer the one who taunts me,
for I trust in your word.

43 Do not snatch the word of truth from my mouth,
for I have put my hope in your laws.

44 I will always obey your law,
for ever and ever.

45 I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out your precepts.

46 I will speak of your statutes before kings
and will not be put to shame,

47 for I delight in your commands
because I love them.

48 I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love,
and I meditate on your decrees.

U.N. Pulls Staffers From Gaza After Gunmen Try to Kidnap Mission Chief

Monday, March 19th, 2007

The U.N. only follows the Mainstream News Media as the largest shill for the pali terrorist. Once again, the palis are tying to bite the hand that feeds them.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — The United Nations yanked its refugess mission from Gaza after three masked Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a vehicle carrying the chief of the mission and tried to kidnap him, sources tell FOX News.

Gunmen blocked the car of mission chief John Ging, head of U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees, and fired 11 bullets at his car as he tried to drive off.

The United Nations told all foreign staff members to leave Gaza immediatly, a U.N. source told FOX News.

Ging said no one was hurt in the kidnap attempt in northern Gaza.

Ging, a driver and a security official were traveling in an armored vehicle when the gunmen jumped out of a white Subaru and opened fire, he said.

“They tried to force open the car, but our driver extracted himself from that situation,” and sped away as the gunmen continued firing, he said.

Eleven bullets pierced the vehicle, which was clearly marked with the U.N. insignia and a U.N. flag, Ging said. The incident took place about half a mile from the Erez passenger crossing into Israel, he added.

A Parallel Muslim Universe

Monday, March 19th, 2007

This is a long article from Spiegel Online that’s worth reading, concerning the Muslim invasion of Germany. Here’s a couple of highlights:

Fear of losing her headscarf

In the following years, the German courts stuck to their guns. In another regional case, the judges had to decide whether a class excursion was mandatory for a Muslim girl. In their ruling of 2002, they parroted the language of a fatwa issued two years previously. The former chairman of the Islamic Religious Community in Hesse had stipulated that a Muslim woman not accompanied by a mahram, a male blood relative, must not stray more than 50 miles from her home – because this is the distance a caravan of camels can travel in 24 hours.

Camels are something of an anomaly on the German autobahn these days. Sympathetic judges nonetheless recommended sending the 15-year-old brother along as a mahram. Given her fear of losing her headscarf or violating other religious laws, the schoolgirl’s condition, they argued, was comparable to that of a “partially mentally handicapped person.” She therefore needed somebody to accompany her; otherwise, she should not be forced to take part in the trip, they reasoned.

A teacher at Richard Elementary in the same district gave disturbing evidence last year to the school committee: German children “weren’t really being tolerated,” and “Christian” was often used as a term of contempt. The teachers were doing their best to set things straight during class “but, sadly, with very little success,” she said.

School is one of the few places where young Muslims come into contact with the non-Islamic environment. As a result, the teachers often see what is happening most clearly. Dietmar Pagel, principal of the Hector-Peterson High School in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin, actively seeks dialog with his students. But with increasing frequency, he and his colleagues feel they are banging their heads against a brick wall. “Lots of our adolescents have a fundamentalist outlook on life,” he says. Many more girls are wearing headscarves, and almost all the Muslim students fasted during the major Islamic holidays, with catastrophic consequences for their performance at school. “The further we get into Ramadan, the more distracted the pupils become.”

“Hillary Clinton Squirms as General Pace Stands” by Michael G. Mickey

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Last night, during the radio show, I was discussing all the heat that is being applied to Marine Gen. Peter Pace to apologize for calling homosexuality immoral by likening it to adultery. As I did so, someone filed a complaint against our radio show for engaging in hate speech.

That’s right, Christians! We were accused of HATE SPEECH because, I suppose, I said that General Pace shouldn’t HAVE to apologize to anyone! That would be because homosexuality, whether those who practice it choose to consider it a sin or not, is DEFINITELY adultery at the very least! That would be because the God-ordained institution of marriage defines it as a union between a man and a woman and we are not to engage in sexual acts outside of marriage. When we do, it is considered adultery in the eyes of God. Adultery is a sin and, as such, immoral. Does that mean that General Pace HATES or I HATE anyone? If it does, then all those who are practicing homosexuality must hate us as well. Think about it!

If the homosexual community doesn’t like my Christian views, isn’t that an act of HATE using their standards as a tool of measurement? Certainly! If it is an immoral act of hate for me to call homosexuality a sin, it is likewise an immoral act of hate for them to be offended by my religious beliefs.

Those who are quickest to cry foul when someone expresses a view other than their own need to take a page out of their own playbook and be tolerant of others! Logic would dictate that this is the fair and appropriate response, but that’s not how it works! Far from it!

Tolerance, as I often point out, is a one-way street that runs away from God and everything He has told us in His Word. Its purpose in Satan’s gameplan is clear – to silence those who uphold and honor the Word of God. All one needs to do to see this is watch where we see the word ‘tolerance’ and the phrase ‘hate speech’ show up to see that.

No one is expected to be tolerant of anything traditional, especially if a non-traditional view on any moral issue is the topic of discussion! Right is wrong and wrong is right! That’s our world today, folks! By these things we know the end is drawing near. Amen?

Having circled the topic of this commentary long enough to clue everyone in as to where it’s headed, I’m now prepared to get to the meat of this commentary.

As General Pace continues to hold his moral ground, at least thus far, Hillary Clinton, who not more than two weeks ago was “proud” of her association with the homosexual agenda, is suddenly coming up silent on the topic, as we see in a CNN story.

Israel Won’t Work With Palestinian “Government”

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Can’t say I blame Israel for taking this stance. The Israelis give and give to the peace process and the pali terrorist give back only violence and bloodshed against innocent Israeli civilians.

JERUSALEM – Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday ruled out peace talks with the Palestinians, saying contacts will be limited to humanitarian issues until the new coalition government explicitly renounces violence and recognizes Israel’s right to exist.

Olmert made the comments a day after the rival Hamas and Fatah movements installed their new unity government in hopes of persuading the international community to end its isolation of the Palestinian Authority and lift a year of bruising economic sanctions.

Israeli officials are concerned the tough international stance against the Palestinians could crumble in the face of the new Palestinian government. Norway immediately recognized the new coalition on Saturday and announced it would lift sanctions. Britain and the U.N. also signaled flexibility, while the U.S. reacted coolly.

While the coalition’s platform is more moderate than that of the previous Hamas-led government, Olmert said it fell short of international demands to renounce violence, recognize Israel and accept past peace deals. He also noted its affirmation of the right to “resistance.”

“We can’t maintain contact with the government or its ministers when you consider that this is a government that does not accept the conditions of the international community and sees terror as a legitimate goal,” Olmert told his Cabinet.

Immigrant Rights Activists Plan May Day Boycott

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Go right ahead. (sarcasm) It worked so well last time y’all tried it…NOT!!

( – Immigrant and worker rights groups called Thursday for an end to raids and deportations of illegal aliens and are planning a May Day boycott to press home their demands.

In recent months, federal authorities have arrested hundreds of illegal immigrants in raids on businesses that employ them.

Critics of the crackdown say lawmakers must “approve fair and pro-immigrant, pro-workers immigration reform and end the terror launched by the Bush administration on immigrant communities nationwide.”

Participants in the “Great American Boycott” say they will not shop, work, go to school or participate in any economic activity on May 1, but will instead hold rallies.

The movement’s website encourages supporters to join with them “against a common enemy: the U.S. government.” Similar campaigns last spring called for pro-immigrant reform.

At a press conference Thursday, speakers from organizations including labor and anti-war groups spoke out against the crackdown.

Bishop Felipe C. Teixeira of the Immigration Pastoral Center in Massachusetts said that the recent raids had shown “the face of racism and discrimination.”

“No human being is illegal,” (they are when they come to our country illegally! -ed) Teixeira said. “Together, united, we can defeat the imperialism of the U.S.A.”

Emma Lozano of the Chicago immigration-rights group Centro Sin Fronteras suggested that the best way to gain recognition from the government was to use economic power.

“We need to stand up and show them that we will hurt them in their pockets,” Lozano said. (And remember that last time y’all tried this, it failed miserably. As I recall, it actually made citizens turn away from your cause. -ed)

“This country has exploited the undocumented labor for over a century and grown rich off of it,” (what do you think the raids are trying to do? They are trying to stop business from employing illegal workers. -ed) she said, adding that “we are not asking for anything, we are demanding our rights.” (what rights? If you are here illegally, you are a criminal and have no rights. -ed)

Other speakers echoed her call, citing instances of abuse in the workplace or describing the effects of the immigration raids.

Susan Tully of the Federation for American Immigration Reform told Cybercast News Service it’s laughable that illegal immigrants expect to be handed legalization.

“We don’t crack down on immigrants. We crack down on illegal immigrants,” she said. “They’ve broken the law in coming here, and now they are protesting our enforcing those laws.”

Tully said she supports the legalization of immigrants, but only through the necessary immigration channels.

“To do anything less would be a slap in the face to those who have come here legally,” Tully said.

Clinton, Obama: Homosexuality ‘Not Immoral’

Monday, March 19th, 2007

As if we could possibly expect any other comment for these people. As if a Clinton would know what “Moral” even is.

( – Sens. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.) responded on Thursday to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Peter Pace’s comments that homosexual behavior is “immoral,” but only after they were criticized for failing to do so by a homosexual advocacy group.

“Well, I’ve heard from a number of my friends, and I’ve certainly clarified with them any misunderstanding that anyone had, because I disagree with General Pace completely,” Clinton told Bloomberg News. “I do not think homosexuality is immoral.”

Also on Thursday, Obama released a statement on the issue. “I do not agree with General Pace that homosexuality is immoral,” the Illinois Democrat noted. “Attempts to divide people like this have consumed too much of our politics over the past six years.”

The remarks by the 2008 presidential candidates differed dramatically from their comments on the issue made earlier in the week.

On Tuesday, an ABC reporter asked Clinton whether homosexuality is immoral, and she replied: “Well, I am going to leave that to others to conclude.”

A spokesman for the junior senator from New York later said that she disagrees with Pace.

On Wednesday, reporters also pressed Obama for reaction to Pace’s comments. “Traditionally, the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman has restricted his public comments to military matters,” the Illinois Democrat said. “That’s probably a good tradition to follow.”

The lack of open criticism from Clinton and Obama brought a sharp response from Jo Wyrick, executive director of the National Stonewall Democrats, on Thursday.

Without mentioning either of the 2008 presidential candidates by name, Wyrick said that “most Democrats understand, and should understand, that morality isn’t derived from sexual orientation or gender identity.”

“Morality is how you treat your neighbor, support your community and sacrifice for your family and country,” Wyrick said in the news release. “When I tuck my daughter into bed at night, those are the values I teach her.

“We expect Democratic candidates and elected officials to reaffirm those same values, to speak up when families or individuals are scapegoated or maligned for political gain, and to proactively argue the benefits of treating all Americans equally under the law without regard to their sexual orientation or gender identity,” she added.

“Morality is also embodied in action,” Wyrick stated. “Our Democratic presidential candidates support employment non-discrimination legislation, the extension of health-care benefits to our families and oppose constitutional amendments that attack lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people for political gain.

“Those are moral actions and positions that each candidate should be proud to campaign on,” she said.

UMC Bishops Out of Touch With Members, Critic Says

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Continue to pray for the people in the United Methodist Church who are trying to stay true to what the Bible teaches.

An official with the Institute on Religion and Democracy says the leadership of the United Methodist Church does not represent most of those in the denomination.

Recently, high ranking bishops in the UMC blasted President George Bush for not including enough money in the federal budget to help the poor.

For years, leaders of the UMC been known for promoting liberal social causes, but IRD spokesman Mark Tooley says the denomination’s bishops don’t represent the core beliefs and values of most UMC members.

“They represent where the church was, you know, 25 and 30 years ago, but in recent years and decades the church actually has moved away from its many decades of liberal ascendancy,” Tooley says, “and the only growing parts of the church now are the more conservative and evangelical parts.”

Tooley also says he believes the UMC could return to its conservative roots, if new bishops are put in place who believe in the authority of Scripture.

FBI: Extremists Trying to Sign Up to Be School Bus Drivers

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Extremists? Like what kind of extremists? Are we talking about Amish extremists? Nope. How about Cream Cheese on Bagel extremists? Nope. Maybe bicycle riding enthusiast extremists? Nope.
What term does the main stream media use to constant describe Islamic Terrorist? That’s right…Extremists.

WASHINGTON — The FBI has issued an “informational bulletin” to state and local officials saying to watch out for people tied to extremist groups trying to earn licenses to drive school buses.

The Associated Press reports that members of the unnamed extremist groups have succeeded in gaining the drivers licenses, but a Department of Homeland Security official told FOX News that “at this time there is no evidence that any of these individuals have got these jobs, or got hold of school buses.”

“There is no plot. There is no threat. And parents and children can feel perfectly safe,” FBI spokesman Richard Kolko told

The Department of Homeland Security official said the bulletin was sent to state and local law enforcement officials, and “some school districts have reported an increased number of foreign nationals seeking school bus driver positions and a number of other unusual events.”

The official said that, out of an abundance of caution, FBI shared the information.

An unnamed counterterrorism official told The Associated Press that the bulletin — sent Friday to state and local law enforcement agencies — did not say how often foreign extremists attempted to get licenses or drive school buses, and did not specify where this might have happened.

The bulletin noted “recent suspicious activity” by foreigners who either drive school buses or are licensed to drive them, the official told The Associated Press.

Foreigners under recent investigation include “some with ties to extremist groups” who have been able to “purchase buses and acquire licenses,” the bulletin says.

But the Homeland Security Department and the FBI “have no information indicating these individuals are involved in a terrorist plot against the homeland,” it says. The memo also notes: “Most attempts by foreign nationals in the United States to acquire school bus licenses to drive them are legitimate.”

It was not immediately clear whether the extremists intended to do with the school buses. One counterterror official, who spoke with The Associated Press on condition of anonymity, said it was likely that the foreigners investigated were merely employed as bus drivers, and did not intend to use them as part of any terror plot.

“I hate to characterize this as a warning,” Kolko said, calling it an “informational bulletin.” He said this was part of routine information sent to local law enforcement agencies that they should use only as background information while doing their normal duties.

“This is just an awareness issue for local law enforcement. … It just makes them smarter,” he said.

Kolko said that if he knew which extremist groups were involved in the report, he would not identify them.
