Homosexual Propaganda Rampant in Mass. Schools

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Mass Resistance president Brian Camenker says that immediately after Massachusetts courts made homosexual marriage legal in his state, many schools had assemblies celebrating the decision. Those assemblies featured pro-homosexual speakers, teachers who announced that they would “marry” their same-sex partners, and homosexuals who announced they would pursue adoption.

Camenker points out the homosexual agenda was even promoted in middle schools and elementary schools. “David Parker was the parent of a kindergartner in Lexington, where they were telling the kids about same-sex families being normal just like their mother and father,” he explains. “And they had gotten to the point, even by 2005, where they considered this so important to tell kids that they refused to allow parents to opt their own kids out of that propaganda and wouldn’t even tell them when it happened.”

Parker sued the school system, but Camenker says the judges ruled that, because homosexual marriage was legal in that state, parents had no right to opt out and also said that the schools were promoting good citizenship. (See related story) Camenker warns that public schools have become a major target of the homosexual agenda, and that the passage of homosexual marriage in other states will only embolden the movement.

CBS Evening News Spikes Newly Found Obama ‘Redistributive’ Audio

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

We blogged about Obama’s “redistributive” audio the other day. Once again, the mainstream media is a shill for Obama, by spinning anything that could reflect negatively on him as utter nonsense.

YouTube postings over the weekend divulged a 2001 radio interview in which Barack Obama regretted that “the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society,” but though John McCain on Monday cited this new evidence of Obama’s long-standing advocacy of redistributing wealth, the CBS Evening News offered nothing more than a McCain soundbite surrounded by reporter Chip Reid discrediting the criticism as he relayed the Obama campaign’s charge McCain had made a “false, desperate attack” and Reid bemoaned: “If the events of today are any guide, this is a campaign that is taking an increasingly negative tone in the last week.”

Larry King Live Barely Touches Obama ‘Redistributive’ Audio; Fixates on Sarah the ‘Diva’

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

I really don’t need to post anything further on “media bias” to prove my point, but Larry King was so blatant in that area, the other night, that I felt compelled to mention it.

Don’t blink your eyes. If you do, you might miss the one very brief mention of Barack Obama’s stunning 2001 radio interview on Larry King Live last night where he called for legislative means to redistribute the wealth. Are you ready? Okay, here it comes in this brief mention by former Republican congresswoman Susan Molinari:

I think there’s still a lot of fighting spirit in this campaign as we go state to state. The numbers are starting to get closer. Senator McCain is continuing and Governor Palin, to take the argument of the words that Senator Obama had given us as far back as 2001 and as lately as a few weeks ago in terms of his determination to redistribute the wealth throughout the United States.

And that was it. Just a very vague reference to that 2001 radio interview which has been all over the web but barely mentioned in the mainstream media including being spiked by the CBS Evening News. Instead Larry King Live spent the major portion of the show obsessing over Sarah Palin’s clothes and presenting her as a “diva.” Here is a transcript of the video (emphasis mine):

KING: All right.

We’ll be checking back with you in a couple of minutes.

John King, CNN’s chief national correspondent, in San Francisco.

A new member of the panel, Julie Menin.

What do you make of this controversy?

JULIE MENIN, DNC WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP FORUM, SUPPORTS OBAMA: (INAUDIBLE) just saying that they’re calling her a diva. If anything, I would say that she was actually overly submissive by allowing herself to be handled in this way.
If she would have gone out from the start and said, listen, I’m a hockey mom, I’m folksy, this is who I am. But now there are these inconsistencies, that she allowed the RNC to spend $2,500 a day on clothing or that she allowed herself to be sequestered from a lot of press interviews.

I think she’s really taking a hit in terms of her overall reputation and that’s something that she’s thinking about. She’s obviously thinking about 2012 and what she can do to get back to who she is as a person.

Skinheads Planned to Kill Obama

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

It is so sad that we are still dealing with such racial prejudice here in America.

Two white supremacist skinheads were arrested in Tennessee over plans to go on a killing spree and eventually shoot Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, court documents showed on Monday.

Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman were charged in a criminal complaint with making threats against a presidential candidate, illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun and conspiracy to rob a gun dealer.

The plot did not appear to be very advanced or sophisticated, the court documents showed.

“We’re unsure of their ability or if they have the wherewithal to carry out any of their threats,” said a source close to the investigation.

Obama would be the first black president in U.S. history if he defeats Republican John McCain in the November 4 election. Concerns about Obama’s safety led the Secret Service to provide round-the-clock protection from early in his campaign.

“An Open Letter to Evangelicals” by Harry R. Jackson, Jr.

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

The most frequent objection of those who fear the presence of believers in government is, “What right do you have to impose your morals on us?” Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council tells them, “The same right you have to impose your lack of morals on us.” Someone’s values will always be reflected in public policy. Almost every government policy decision is a value judgment. In this postmodern world, where moral relativism is the philosophy of choice, these value judgments are often based on the conditions of the moment rather than objective, transcendent, biblical truth. This is where the two sides diverge.

Bible-believing Christians believe there is absolute truth, a view that was held by all Christians until the turn of the twentieth century. Belief in objective truth is the first step in developing a Christian worldview. A Christian worldview is based on the belief that there is a personal God who is directly involved in the activities of man and who authoritatively communicates to man through His Word and the Holy Spirit.

Shortly after the Civil War, the Protestant church divided over this belief in a literal interpretation of Scripture. Liberals moved away from Scripture as the sole authority in order to accommodate “rational truth,” which they saw as incompatible with the Bible. These liberals embraced the “essence of Christianity” rather than the inerrancy of Scripture so they could synthesize their Christian thought with so-called scientific findings of the day.

One of the preeminent voices to emerge in defense of absolute truth shortly after the turn of the century was a Princeton Theological Seminary professor and Presbyterian minister, J. Grescham Machen, who would later lead a split within the Presbyterian Church over the rejection of biblical orthodoxy. In his definitive work, Christianity and Liberalism, Machen said that liberalism was not only theologically wrong but was not connected at all to true Christianity. “What the liberal theologian has retained after abandoning to the enemy one Christian doctrine after another is not Christianity at all, but a religion which is so entirely different from Christianity as to belong in a different category.” Machen felt that the argument was no longer between two views of evangelicalism, conservative and liberal, but rather a conflict between two religions. Liberalism is “a type of faith and practice that is anti-Christian to the core,” Machen wrote.

What has transpired in many mainline denominations over the last one hundred years gives clear evidence of the results of abandoning absolute truth. Mainline denominations have shrunk in size and no longer debate the inerrancy of Scripture but issues such as the ordination of homosexuals. As we look at their decline, we wonder what will be next for a church or a society that has rejected absolute truth.

The present divide among evangelicals that the media frequently points to as “evidence” of the declining influence of the conservative Christian movement is not new. In 1984, Christian theologian Francis Schaeffer spoke to the cause of this divide—a rejection of absolute truth. Schaeffer chastised those who had compromised their view of Scripture and had accommodated the culture in the name of “love.”

Unfortunately, a growing number of Christians are influenced more by the popular culture than Scripture in terms of their worldview. Even younger evangelicals, who tend to track conservatively on most core social issues, do not consistently view the world from a biblical perspective.

Are Christians Sitting This Election Out?

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

As I read through the news every day, I have to ask myself if people realize just how much is at stake in next weeks election. Do they truly understand that we are locked into four years of whatever policies either one of this men choose to foist on us? One promises to cut cost by removing government programs. The other promises to raise taxes on the middle class. One is moderately pro-abortion. The other is vehemently pro-abortion. One has many years in Washington, the other has less than a year. Both have some questionable friends. One has ties to big business interest, the other to foreign and domestic terrorist and hate mongers. Both claim to be Christians. One lives more like than the other.
I was having a conversation with a coworker the other day. We were discussing the decline in American values, the fact that our nation has turned it’s back on God. We both feel that God has withdrawn his hand of protection from our country.
Maybe the results of this election are the punishment this country deserves.
Christians, it’s time to put your faith back in God and vote your morals. Do what God wants you to do.

MSNBC Under Fire From Hollywood?

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

You know things are bad when even the liberal left is speaking out against MSNBC.

In a room full of television industry executives, no one seemed inclined to defend MSNBC on Monday for what some were calling its lopsidedly liberal coverage of the presidential election.

The cable news channel is “completely out of control,” said writer-producer Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, a self-proclaimed liberal Democrat.

She added that she would prefer a lunch date with right-leaning Fox News star Sean Hannity over left-leaning MSNBC star Keith Olbermann.

Olbermann was criticized by many who attended Monday’s luncheon sponsored by the Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The event was dubbed “Hollywood, America and Election ’08.”

Bloodworth-Thomason and others seemed especially critical of the way MSNBC — and other media — has attacked Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin while demeaning her supporters.

“We should stop the demonizing,” she said, adding that Democrats have been worse than Republicans as far as personal attacks on candidates are concerned. “It diminishes us,” she said of her fellow Democrats.

Bloodworth-Thomason even suggested a defense of Palin and her supporters should be written into TV programing, just as she went out of her way to portray Southern women as smart in her hit TV show “Designing Women.”

“America Asks for a King” by Laura Hollis

Monday, October 27th, 2008

I am an attorney and professor of law and entrepreneurship, so I usually confine my commentary to matters of public policy, and leave theology to those who have chosen that field of study. But since today is Sunday, I will take the liberty of making an observation with a more Biblical bent.

As one who has taught entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking for nearly ten years, I am distressed by the apparently overwhelming sentiment sweeping Americans that they must now be taken care of. I know from years of studying the matter that a society in which most members are – or can be – entrepreneurial, is a society where upward mobility is the rule; where wealth is created – not just “spread around”; where hope is common currency; where the inevitable problems are viewed as opportunities to find sustainable solutions, and where those solutions are typically new industries, new companies, and new jobs. An entrepreneurial society is a society where most people wish to, and know they can, take care of themselves, their families, and even others in need. Where charity and philanthropy are fellow-travelers with success.

Joe the Plumber’s exposure of Obama’s “spread the wealth” philosophy exploded like a flash fire, not only because that philosophy is utterly anti-American, but because it is shortsighted, and immoral. It is short-sighted, because in an economy that is a bit battered and fragile, what we need are more businesses, more workers, and more wealth creation in the private sector, not more government programs and more people dependent upon them. It is short-sighted because it is a failed business model. And, as we saw with the collapse of major lending institutions a few weeks ago, a failed business model, made larger (or “spread around,” if you prefer) by government, is not just a failure, but a catastrophic failure. So it was with the irresponsible lending practices foisted on American banks by the government, and so it will be with the irresponsible spending and doomed reliance on government largesse that Obama and the Democrats are peddling as salvation.

Obama’s economic and social theories have been debunked and disproven (at great human cost) so many times over the past 100 years that it’s laughable anyone still believes in them. But at least his designs on the country are understandable. Those who crave power will use any tactic, as long as it works.

It’s the fact that it’s working that is inscrutable to me. And this is where the Biblical references come in. Americans’ attitude toward this posturing, self-important, political zealot remind me of the Israelites’ demand for a king, as recounted in the Book of Samuel.

The comparisons are telling: Americans are understandably fed up with corruption, greed, and perversion of justice in our leaders. But till now, we have asked for no king, because we could take care of ourselves, and because we have always been a godly people. But look around now – our children languish in failing, crumbling, unsafe, and undisciplined schools, many of which are merely bastions of social experimentation. Our cities are riddled with crime. Our families are devastated by divorce, abuse, illegitimacy, absent fathers, and definitions of “marriage” that fluctuate with the sexual predilections du jour. Our culture – books, films, music – is saturated with violence and perversion that even the smallest child is exposed to. And of course, one cannot forget – the high watermark of freedom and femininity, and the litmus test of liberty for the Left is the unfettered right to kill our own children in our wombs (or leave them to die outside of them).

This is what we, as a nation, have brought ourselves to. These are problems that no amount of social spending will cure, and any promise to do so is a lie, because no amount of money will change people’s hearts. And yet, instead of reaching deep within ourselves to find the solutions, we now whine and mewl for someone to save us.

And here he comes, Barack Obama, on a “righteous wind.”

As with anyone who would be king, Obama will take our money and our property in ever-larger amounts. Our children will be saddled with debt and beholden to a bloated government that will enslave the very people it promised to help. We will be at the mercy of our enemies. And no matter how bleak or desperate our own lives becomes, the leaders in Obama’s government will always thrive; such people always do. Nor is any of this is unique to Obama; it is in the nature of every king, and every government, which is why our government was originally set up to be limited, both to protect us, and to ensure our own self-reliance.

Actor Notes Obama’s Abortion Record

Monday, October 27th, 2008

A well-known Christian actor says fellow believers must look beyond rhetoric and the economy when it comes to choosing a president.

Stephen Baldwin is a born-again Christian who is known for his outspoken views on political and social issues. He believes the choice is clear when it comes to Senator John McCain’s and Senator Barack Obama’s stances on the pro-life issue.

“Barack Obama is the only senator ever to vote against the Born Alive [Infant Protection] Act — the only one. Hillary Clinton was in favor of it,” Baldwin explains. “Why he chose to take that position, he says, was to protect the interest of the health of the mother, which was irrelevant in regard to that piece of law.” (Related article from CitizenLink)

“End-Time Pilgrims” by Todd Strandberg

Monday, October 27th, 2008

There has been a cascade of negative news events during the past few weeks. The global economy is in a historic tailspin and the Democrats are poised to take full control of the government.

Since little can be done about the economy, most of my email traffic is focused on the November 4th election. The polls point to a strong likelihood that Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. He has a commanding lead in many key states. Speculators on Wall State only give McCain a 16 percent chance of victory. The Obama campaign has already spent $2 million on a lavish victory celebration in Chicago.

There is a huge amount of denial or exasperation on the part of Christians. I’ve received dozens of messages from people who think the liberal media is concocting the poll numbers, and they doubt Obama is going to win. Some woman even sent me a vision from the Lord that points to a surprise McCain victory:

I keep hearing God say – regarding the elections
“I will move them in the right way when it comes Election Day.
The polls and the trends may look one way,
But when it comes to election day,
I’ll move them the right way.
I’ll move them the right way.”

I hear God saying:
“McCain, McCain, McCain
McCain and Palin, McCain and Palin,

An equal number of people can’t believe that Obama is being taken seriously as a candidate. Here is an email that offers an example of the frustration I see every day: “HAVE WE LEARNED ANYTHING SINCE 9/11? We either turn this country over to a man who patriotically and proudly has served his country in war and in peace ~or~ do we face the consequences of electing a man with a checkered past, a man who has counted domestic terrorists among his friends, and a man who spent 15 years in a church where his pastor regularly damned and condemned the United States. We need to investigate [who] BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA’s friends and mentors have been over his lifetime and this is not negative campaigning when he is wanting to be elected commander and chief of this country!!”

I don’t think alarm or even anger is called for here. If we are in the last of the last days, we should expect the world to begin to reflect the dark picture painted by Bible prophecy. The Word of God says the end times will be marked by moral decline, apostasy, and global economic peril.

We should not withdraw from the world just because things don’t go our way. If we fail to engage the enemy, we will end up with a nation that is all the more repulsive to us. At some point, our right to freedom of religion will come into question.

I’ve noticed that Christians are mostly absent from the political process. Nearly all the Christian conservative political organizations from previous election years seem to be sitting this one out. Since believers are said to be the salt of the earth, their absence is going to be quickly reflected in the types of new laws that will come out of Washington D.C.

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men” (Matt. 5:3).

God never said that our main goal should be centered on achieving victory in the political process. We have been charged with the task of saving a remnant of the general population. One good thing about the pace of recent events is that it gets believers out of their comfort-zone mentality. The fact that we find ourselves living in a nation we no longer recognize should indicate it’s time to turn our hearts to the place of our true residence.

We rarely hear the term “pilgrim” applied to believers these days. “Pilgrim – One who stays in a place as a stranger or visitor; to describe Christians whose final citizenship is in heaven and who are regarded as temporary dwellers on earth” (Zondervan Pictorial Encyclopedia Of The Bible). As America gets further from core biblical values, my hope is that more Christians realize that we are ultimately just visitors here.

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2 (NIV).

“A Tough Interview of Joe Biden” by Michael Mickey

Monday, October 27th, 2008

After the interview of Joe Biden by T.V. anchor Barbara West posted below, Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign, wrote to WFTV 9 to cancel an interview of Joe Biden’s wife. She wrote that the “cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election“.

See how things are going to work under an Obama presidency? Freedom of speech, freedom of the press? We have reasons to be concerned. Maybe this is why the Los Angeles Times, having in its possession a videotape of Barack Obama attending a Jew-bashing party and toasting a PLO operative, is withholding that game-changing evidence from the public.

Unbelievable that Barack Obama is, reportedly at least, leading in all of the polls. Considering where we’re getting all of our information, who knows what is true at this point?

“Obama in 2001: How to Bring About ‘Redistributive Change'” by Michelle Malkin

Monday, October 27th, 2008

The blogosphere is buzzing about this video posted on YouTube Sunday night. It’s Barack Obama musing about how best to redistribute wealth in America in a Chicago Public Radio interview in 2001.

Not whether, but how: Through the courts or through legislation?

A caller asks The One to explain how he would do “reparative economic work.” Obama gives the legislative route two thumbs up as his preferred method of “breaking free of the constraints” placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution and then burbles about cobbling together the “actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change.”

Joe The Plumber, you barely scratched the surface:

STACLU has transcribed the choice parts of the interview.

If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court. I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that now I would have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order as long as I could pay for it I’d be o.k. But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the Federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf, and that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was, um, because the civil rights movement became so court focused I think there was a tendancy to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that.

The bottom line from Jeff Goldstein:

In Obama’s America, we’ll finally be able to break free of the “constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution” — and in so doing, achieve “social justice” through “redistributive change.”

Well, then. Fine .

But this is not the America I knew…

Yeah, and don’t you dare ask Obama or Biden about this.

You’ll get blacklisted and bombarded and labeled “combative.”

And who knows what’ll happen to your government records.

“Will the Privacy Champions Come to Joe the Plumber’s Defense?” by Michelle Malkin

Monday, October 27th, 2008

There is something in the water in Ohio.

They’ve got a fraud-friendly Secretary of State, infestations of out-of-state students and Obama workers sabotaging electoral integrity, and now…government employees or accomplices thereof rifling through the records of Joe the Plumber immediately after the last presidential debate.

You’ll remember that a national media uproar ensued after it was discovered that State Department contractors had snooped through Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain’s passports. (Later, it turned out that the CEO of a company whose employee was involved in Passport-gate was a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign.)

Will the privacy champs come to Joe the Plumber’s defense?

The Columbus Dispatch reports:

Public records requested by The Dispatch disclose that information on Wurzelbacher’s driver’s license or his sport-utility vehicle was pulled from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles database three times shortly after the debate.

Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.

It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why. Direct access to driver’s license and vehicle registration information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business.

The paper characterizes a McCain spokesman as “attemping to portray” the breach as “politically motivated.”

Geez Louise. Is there any other reason such a breach would take place immediately after Wurzelbacher was mentioned in a national presidential debate?

Of course it’s politically motivated. The question is not whether. The question is who.

The attorney general’s office is investigating if the access of Wuzelbacher’s BMV information through the office’s Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway computer system was unauthorized, said spokeswoman Jennifer Brindisi.

“We’re trying to pinpoint where it came from,” she said. The investigation could become “criminal in nature,” she said. Brindisi would not identify the account that pulled the information on Oct. 16.

Records show it was a “test account” assigned to the information technology section of the attorney general’s office, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Thomas Hunter.

Brindisi later said investigators have confirmed that Wurzelbacher’s information was not accessed within the attorney general’s office. She declined to provide details. The office’s test accounts are shared with and used by other law enforcement-related agencies, she said.

On Oct. 17, BMV information on Wurzelbacher was obtained through an account used by the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency in Cleveland, records show.

Mary Denihan, spokeswoman for the county agency, said the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services contacted the agency today and requested an investigation of the access to Wurzelbacher’s information. Cuyahoga County court records do not show any child-support cases involving Wurzelbacher.

The State Highway Patrol, which administers the Law Enforcement Automated Data System in Ohio, asked Toledo police to explain why it pulled BMV information on Wurzelbacher within 48 hours of the debate, Hunter said.

After the State Department passport fiasco, heads rolled. Obama spokesman Bill Burton raged: “Our government’s duty is to protect the private information of the American people, not use it for political purposes.”

New Allegations in Mahoney Sex Scandal

Monday, October 27th, 2008

As I predicted, we can’t count on the Democrat to the right thing and set down. I guess it’s up to his constituents to let him know what they think. Unless I miss the mark, I suspect they will make him step down on election day.

Current and former members of the staff of Congressman Tim Mahoney (D-Fla) say he has yet to come completely clean about his multiple affairs, abusive behavior and alleged ethical lapses.

Last week, following a series of reports on The Blotter, Mahoney confirmed that he had hired one of his mistresses for his Congressional staff and that he was also carrying on an affair with a Florida county official who sought his help with a federal grant.

But a document obtained by ABC News reveals new allegations of threatening behavior and sexual harassment toward a female staffer, that go far beyond Mahoney’s public confession, including claims that he urged one of his mistresses to serve as a “tease” for big donors.

The former Congressional staff member, Patricia Allen, was paid $121,000 by Mahoney after she was fired and threatened to sue.

Meanwhile this week Mahoney resumed campaigning, meeting with newspaper editors in Florida to ask their “forgiveness”, saying despite his personal problems he’s been a good congressman for Monroe County. Mahoney is scheduled to debate his Republican opponent Friday afternoon at the Forum Club in West Palm Beach.

  • Amina and Sarah, through the eyes of those they trusted most…friends!

Since learning about the girls deaths, I have been blessed by meeting many of these girls closest friends. I must say, I am so impressed by each of these girls! They saw education as a way to freedom! They saw hidden relationships as the only way to get through each day. The rules were ever changing for Amina and Sarah as each day seemed to be guided by Yasser’s whim’s and the spying eyes of the brother, Islam! Many, have confided in me about how Islam or, Yasser would just pop up to spy on the girls. Truly, they knew no freedom in a country where we boast about our freedoms!

Amina, was the most vocal about her desires. Amina desired to go to college and be a doctor. She would have graduated this past Spring, in the top ten of her class. She had scholarships and some, she never knew about! Had Amina been allowed to do as she desired, can you imagine the compassion she would have had? After all, she knew suffering well! I was told that Amina saw a crucifix and asked her friend why would that be put upon the wall? It was sad for her to see and she gently removed it from the wall as she could not bare to see this man suffering. Her friend, explained why the crucifix and what it meant. Amina understood but, still could not bare to see the sight of this man, on a cross! This told me that her heart was compassionate and sufferings of others bothered her to the core. I found this very interesting in that she had been treated so horribly and yet, Amina did not let her sufferings make her heart bitter. No, she was not going to be anything like her dad and those who thought as he did. Amina, did not want to hate! Amina, merely wanted to think for herself and in doing so, took much torture, physically and emotionally. I am so very proud of her for staying true to herself…even in the face of brutality!

Both Amina and Sarah had told thier mom that they did not want a Muslim funeral if something happened! They said that they feared the burial sheet and the death shroud placed upon the face. Even so, these girls were buried as Muslim’s and in death sheets…they were under thier pajamas…you could see them and feel them! To this day, I cannot figure out why my neice had them buried in this manner after the girls requested not to be. They told her they wanted, “American” funerals. Her excuse to me about this….”I must honor my son too.” Well, her son was not the victim! The girls were and they should have been allowed to be buried as they wished. No, nothing was done to truly honor these girls!

To appease my neices conscience, she allowed a Christian service which was held at the Muslim funeral home. This was the biggest mockery I have ever witnessed in my entire life! The microphones were turned off when the preacher began with prayer! No one, outside this very small room, with double caskets lining the walls could hear the minister. Then, Islam, their own brother got up and walked out of the funeral with the intent to stop this service. Luckily, a family member was able to get him outside and away from the rest of us.

As the service ended, Islam was outside and one relative from the paternal side approached him. It did not turn out well…Islam went off and started screaming for all to leave and that this f’….ing funeral was over! This caused police officers to rise from thier cars with hands on the holster! That is how radical this boy got with his words. He even yanked away from an Imam who was trying to get him to settle down. There were no tears for his sister’s! Only anger and he allowed it to show! In fact, he had already proclaimed that both girls deserved what they got!

Now, I ask you, how does a family function with all this hate? Did Islam ever love his sisters? Did they love him? How could they not resent a brother who reported every action to thier dad? Plus, knowing what it would bring down on his sisters? This has boggled my mind and I will never understand how a brother could say that his dad did a great job that night! Islam, is a homegrown terrorist and his teachings began with his own sisters! I understand that he is very much this way with his mom too. I suppose it matters little now as Islam has told his mother he never wants to see her nor, speak to her again! What did she do? The uncles have told him that she has been speaking to the media and such…which is a lie. Islam believes them and has turned on his mother. She has been faithful to Yasser’s wishes and to Islam’s demands and now, they have tried to turn Islam against her. They have succeeded and I feel that one day, she too will know his wrath as she will never be safe from her own son!

I have begged my neice to tell all she knows and to come clean as I see her as an accomplice. She will never have peace in her life as long as she carries these deadly truths, in her heart…if she still has a heart? My neice has labeled me as a trouble maker and someone who wants 15 minutes of fame! She may call me what she wishes too but, I do not think collecting threats is a healthy way to get 15 minutes of fame!

Truly, only she can bring justice for these girls but, to do so, I fear she would have to implicate herself too. Even so, I pray her heart is so pricked that she will have to come forth and tell truths in which only the Said’s hold!

I will continue on as I feel up to this. I am recovering nicely but, am tired.

Analyst: Network News Paying Price for Liberal Bias

    Friday, October 24th, 2008

Media analyst Robert Knight believes the consistent drop in viewership of the mainstream media news programs shows that Americans are on to the media’s liberal bias, most notably their glowing coverage of Democrat Barack Obama’s presidential run.

A study by Nielsen Media Research shows that the Big Three network news programs experienced a sharp drop in viewers last week during the height of the presidential campaign. CBS Evening News with Katie Couric lost a half-million viewers, as did World News with Charlie Gibson on ABC. Ratings leader NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams dropped from 8.2 million viewers to 7.8 million.

“The fact that this is happening at a time of year when a lot of people are glued to the screen — right before an election — shows that there is a systemic problem with the network news. People don’t believe it any more. They’re tuning out by the millions,” [Robert Knight is director of the Culture and Media Institute (CMI), a division of the Media Research Center] explains. “This continues a trend we’ve seen over the last couple decades, but it’s experienced a real uptick lately. Katie Couric in particular is down below figures Dan Rather descended to after he misplayed his accusation of President Bush and his National Guard records.”

Democrat: Obama’s Grandma Confirms Kenyan Birth

    Friday, October 24th, 2008

Still nothing in the mainstream media about this. How long can they continue to sit on this??

The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator’s paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.

The issue of Obama’s birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his “Certification of Live Birth” from Hawaii.

But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.

“This has been a real sham he’s pulled off for the last 20 months,” Berg told Savage. “I’ll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United

He said the telephone call was from Obama’s paternal grandmother affirming she “was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961.”

Berg said he’s pursuing the issue because of “the most important document in the United States,” the U.S. Constitution.

“Nothing is more important than enforcing the Constitution,” he said. “The Constitution’s provisions are very small for qualifying for president. One, be over 35, and he is. Two, be in the country 14 years, and he has been. Three, be a natural-born citizen. He is not.”

Obama campaign officials acknowledged the dispute by posting the image purporting to be a copy of his certification of live birth earlier this year. But they’ve declined to return WND requests for comment on the issues.

WND reported earlier this week Berg’s claim that Obama has legally “admitted” the accusations included in his lawsuit, including that he was born in Mombosa, Kenya, by not responding to the allegations.

Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court in August alleging Obama is not a natural-born citizen and is thus ineligible to serve as president of the United States.

His lawsuit is demanding that the courts verify Obama’s original birth certificate.

Berg has cited Rule 36 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which states that unless the accused party provides written answer or objection to charges within 30 days, the accused legally admits the matter.

Since Obama filed only motions to dismiss the case and did not actually answer the claims, according to Rule 36, Obama has legally admitted he is not a natural-born citizen., asserted Berg, who has taken his information public through his website.

Futures Plummet, Ugly Day On Street Expected

    Friday, October 24th, 2008

Another bad day for Wall Street…hang on for the ride!!

U.S. stock futures are pointing toward a very scary open for stocks for Friday’s trading session after Asian and European markets broadly sold off overnight on worldwide earnings and recession fears.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down 550 points, or 6.27%, to 8224 as of 8:45 a.m. here in New York. The S&P 500 futures were down 60 points, or 6.56%, to 855.20 while the Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 83.50 points, or 6.66%, to 1170. They have not moved from those levels since 5:00 this morning.

All the futures of the major indices have hit their limit down – where market regulations will not allow traders to sell the futures off more. They can trade above those levels, but cannot trade below those levels. It’s similar to the New York Stock Exchange’s circuit breakers – which were put into place to keep panic selling from destroying the stock market. In a piece of ominous trivia, today’s trading session marks the 79th anniversary of the 1929 stock market crash.

With fair value calculated into the futures, the Dow is expected to fall about 450 points at the 9:30 a.m. open, but with limit down affecting futures the opening will most likely be considerably worse.

“We’re all going to hold our breath and see what happens when they ring the opening bell,” NYSE trader Ben Willis of VDM Institutional Brokerage told FOX Business.

The prices on all categories of bonds – from short-term Treasury bills to 30-year Treasury bonds – were all sharply higher this morning as investors piled in to the safety of U.S. government-backed bonds.

Gail Gartrell, Great-Aunt to Sarah and Amina Said, Speaks About The “Honor Killing” Part 1

    Friday, October 24th, 2008

For those who have been following our blog lately, we have been covering developments in the murder case of Sarah and Amina Said, the two Dallas girls who were the victims of an Islamic “honor killing” by their Egyptian father (see links below).

We are honored to have Ms. Gail Gartrell, the great-aunt of Sarah and Amina Said, share her thoughts about the situation and also some of her memories of the girls with us.

See the previous posts here, here, here, here, here, here and here.

    Said Sisters

    Thank you, Steve and all.

I want to introduce all to the persons of Sarah and Amina. This is important because I promised these girls I would tell thier story, best I can. You all must understand that I was kept from these girls since Yasser sexually abused them at the age of seven and eight. I believe this was done because I was one of the people who kept the children hidden for a single day! During the course of this day, Amina spoke openly to me about what her dad had done. I tried to reassure this child that it was NOT her fault! Her dad should have never done this to her…even so, the saddness in her eyes told me much! After this day, Yaser and my neice went back together and most all of the American side of the family was cut out of these children’s lives. This certainly insured the fact that none of us could ever tell the police what was going on, not even my sister, the girls grandmother! She died, rarely seeing these children after she called about the abuse. This was the cost for speaking up for these girls!

As children, Sarah and Amina were very quiet. They were beautiful from the day they were born. In fact, my Mom, before she died, kept Sarah many, many times. She even called Sarah her baby! There was much love for these children and yet, we were punished for trying to help them.

The night I found out about the murders, is simply indescribable. I knew that my niece had ran with the girls but, I had no clue how deeply my neice had involved herself in the religion of Islam and the culturistic ways of her Egyptian husband. I do now!! I will speak of this later on. The night the girls were murdered, I spoke to my neice while she was at the police station. She simply said, “he shot my girls!” I told her, I know and I am so sorry as I believed that she was sincere in her run with her two girls. My heart was aching and I could not imagine the horror that Amina and [S]sarah felt when they saw that gun come out! This is when I started crying out for God as I knew this situation was much greater than I.

The following days led to truths I could not imagine. I will continue to share what I have found out from those closest to the girls but, not family members. Children, who feel as though it may be part [their] fault by merely being a friend to Sarah and Amina! Yasser Said, not only killed his daughters but, he has truly hurt many young teenagers with doubts, fears and forced them to look at [their] own mortality…in twisted ways! This is truly one of the most evil experiences I have ever been faced with. Even so, this truth must be told.

As I recover, I will be back to write more and tell truths so that we may limit these evil practices through prayer and with God’s guidance.

Obama Spreads the Wealth – To Non-Taxpayers

    Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

After John McCain ripped his opponent’s universal mortgage credit as “welfare” because it would give funds to non-taxpaying citizens, Barack Obama’s campaign announced a work requirement for the proposal – but “The Audacity of Deceit” author Brad O’Leary said the plan remains a form of socialist wealth redistribution.

“No matter how Barack Obama tries to dress-up his tax welfare plan, it is still a welfare plan,” O’Leary said in a statement. “Under Obama’s massive plan for wealth redistribution, 44 percent of Americans will never pay federal income taxes, and many of these folks will also receive bonus, or ‘welfare,’ checks from the government.”

According to ABC News, Obama adviser Austan Goolsbee said a work requirement was added to silence critics such as O’Leary who claim the plan takes money from working citizens and redistributes it to people who do not pay taxes.

“They started saying this was welfare,” Goolsbee said. “So, just so they would absolutely not be able to say that, we decided that for the last two percent we’ll simply add a work requirement.”

The Obama campaign claims its tax proposal will give an average of $500 to 10 million homeowners making less than $50,000 per year, ABC News reported. The campaign says the mortgage credit is meant to provide money to taxpayers who don’t itemize.

Goolsbee and McCain adviser Douglas Holtz-Eakin discussed Obama’s 10 percent mortgage credit plan Tuesday at a Council on Foreign Relations debate. Goolsbee said each of the working recipients of the mortgage credit will have paid Social Security and Medicare
contributions through required payroll taxes, even though some don’t pay actual income taxes.

Get Brad O’Leary’s authoritative blockbuster, “The Audacity of Deceit: Barack Obama’s War on American Values.”

“All of the people that are receiving this credit are paying payroll taxes under Obama’s program,” Goolsbee said. “So it’s completely not true that they aren’t paying taxes. They aren’t paying income taxes, but they are paying payroll taxes. To say that it’s welfare, as John McCain has said when John McCain’s own health-care credit of $5,000 is completely refundable and going to every single one of the people that they’re saying is on welfare, is almost unbelievable. It makes my head want to explode.”

Goolsbee said the work requirement was added to the proposal two weeks ago, though it had not been publicly announced. However, Holtz-Eakin suggested the camp simply came up with the idea for the debate.

“I think they just made it up,” Holtz-Eakin told ABC News. “They will say anything in the moment. This is like trying to pin Jello to the wall.”

Holtz-Eakin argued Obama’s tax plan isn’t consistent with his record. He said Obama voted 94 times for higher taxes in the Senate and promised trillions of dollars in new spending, despite the fact that 44 percent of Americans don’t pay income taxes.

“How do you sustain those three fundamental contradictions for any length of time?” he asked. “Well, he’s very good. He’s verbally one of the most talented people we’ve ever seen. And he did it for a long time until he walked into some plumber’s driveway. That was his mistake.”

In a widely publicized moment, Obama explained his economic policy to an Ohio plumber Oct. 12 saying, “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

However, O’Leary, author of “The Audacity of Deceit” and president of ATI News, condemned Obama’s tax proposal, saying it threatens the fiscal wellbeing of the country.

“Obama’s economic plan is clear,” he said. “He wants to achieve his brand of social justice through wealth redistribution, while completely ignoring economic growth. When you combine his socialist redistribution plan and his plan to raise barriers to free trade, you have toxic mix that could drive the American economy deep into depression.”

O’Leary referenced an Oct. 17-20 ATI-News/Zogby poll that shows a majority of undecided voters disagree with plans to “spread the wealth around.”

“Our poll results show that undecided voters overwhelmingly reject Obama’s economic plan to redistribute wealth,” he said.

The poll surveyed 1,214 likely voters who were asked the following question: “John McCain and other critics say Barack Obama is heavily influenced by people and organizations which seek social justice through redistribution of wealth in America. Do you agree or disagree with efforts to bring social justice by the redistribution of wealth?”

A total of 57 percent of undecided voters said they disagreed with efforts to redistribute wealth, while only 24 percent agreed (19 percent said they are not sure).

“In his candid conversation with ‘Joe the plumber,’ Obama made clear that his main economic goal is to redistribute wealth, not strengthen and grow our economy,” O’Leary said. “This is pure socialism, albeit thinly veiled, and it does not resonate with hard-working Americans who would rather keep their money than have Obama redistribute it to his favorite constituencies.”

O’Leary said Obama is less like the young and inexperienced John F. Kennedy, as many of his supporters declare, and more reminiscent of another former U.S. leader who failed to end America’s downward spiral into deep depression.

“Obama isn’t the second coming of JFK,” he said. “He’s the reincarnation of Herbert Hoover.”
